How to choose
- Snapback or trucker cap: both adjust at the back, but a trucker cap has a mesh back that stays cooler in warm weather, while a snapback is solid all round.
- Flexi fit: a stretch band and a closed back with no strap. That looks neater from behind, but the cap cannot be adjusted, so check the size before you order.
- Beanies and bobble hats: knitted hats for cold meets and winter work on the car.
Good to know
- Keep caps out of the washing machine: it can bend the peak and crush the front panels. Spot clean with a damp cloth and let the cap dry over something round, such as a bowl.
