Autobead Heavy Cut Compound is a heavy cut, intense polishing compound designed to remove heavy paint defects such as random deep scratches, buffer trails and sanding marks up to 1500 grade.
The Drivers HQ
A heavy cut is for the defects a medium compound cannot reach: random deep scratches, buffer trails and sanding marks up to 1500 grade. Autobead's diminishing abrasives cut aggressively at first and break down over a longer working period, so the finish needs only minimal refining.
Use it only where the paint needs it, then refine. Autobead recommends its Medium Compound or Finishing Polish for that stage. No fillers means the result you see after refining is the one that stays.
Caution: Heavy cut: machine use only, refine afterwards, and keep away from edges and thin paint.
Top Tip: Plan the second stage. Autobead recommends refining with its Medium Compound or Finishing Polish after the heavy cut.
