The EZ Detail Brush is just what your vehicle needs to get totally clean right down to the tiniest details.

The EZ Brush bends, curves and reaches to clean spaces large and small all over your car. The EZ Detail Brush reaches between spokes and even between the brake caliper and the wheel’s edge. Even though this looks like a thick brush, the flexible bristles flatten to squeeze into small openings.

The soft Nylon Nylex bristles will not scratch any coated, painted, polished, plated, or blank metal surface. Each bristle has a unique, multi-edge structure that provides excellent cleaning power, and the bristles bounce back to their original shape after each use The EZ Detail Brush features an amazing, bendable stem that bends to the contours of your wheels. It’s so flexible; you can bend the top half of the brush to one side and then insert it between the spokes to clean the interior rim of the wheel (the side that faces underneath the vehicle). The synthetic bristles are chemical resistant, so feel free to use your favourite wheel cleaner.

For the best results no matter what wheels you have, always use a water-based wheel cleaner (some examples are shown below). This safe cleaner contains no caustic agents and will not pit or dull any type of coating. The tip of the EZ Detail Brush is covered in vinyl to prevent accidental scratches and scrapes. A rubber knuckle guard protects you from getting too close to hard metal edges. An ergonomic handle keeps you comfortable while you clean.

We’ve emphasised how well the EZ Detail Brush fits into tight openings, but what about wide-set spokes? This brush has a diameter of approximately 125mm to also clean large wheel openings. Using it

  1. Choose a wheel safe cleaner before you start.
  2. Bend the stem to the angle you need.
  3. Work the bristles between the spokes and around the caliper edge.

Big EZ, Little EZ and Go EZ

Big EZ. The larger bendable brush: 18in (about 46cm) long with a 4in (about 10cm) head of nylon and Nylex memory bristles on a vinyl-coated wire stem. It reaches between the spokes to the barrel of the wheel behind them, and EZ Detail also recommends it for engine bays. In blue or red.

Little EZ. The smaller brush: 13in (33cm) long with a 2.5in (about 6cm) head, for gaps the Big EZ is too wide for, such as close-set spokes, motorcycle wheels and forks. In blue or red.

Go EZ. The Go EZ is 16in long with a plastic handle and a 4in dome-shaped head, more rigid than the bendable brushes. Use it on wheel faces, tyres, wheel arches, door jambs and corners.

Which one. Start with the Big EZ for most car wheels, add the Little EZ for tight spokes and motorcycle work, and use the Go EZ for arches and the outside of the wheel. Two colours help you keep a brush for wheels and another for the engine bay or exhaust tips, so the two never mix.

Using and caring for EZ Detail brushes

With your wheel cleaner. EZ Detail says its bristles stand up to strong solvents, so you can keep using your usual wheel cleaner. Spray the wheel, let the cleaner work, then use the brush to reach behind the spokes and around the brake caliper before rinsing.

Soft bristles, no scratching. The bristles have a multi-edge structure for cleaning power, yet stay soft, and EZ Detail says they will not scratch clear-coated wheels, chrome or aluminium.

Keeping them in shape. Warm water softens the bristles, and EZ Detail says heat restores matted Nylex bristles to their shape. Rinse the brush clean after each wash so brake dust does not sit in the bristles.
