Poorboys Black Hole glaze cleans and fills light swirl marks to leave a brilliant, glossy, slick show car shine. It can be applied any time to hide minor imperfections and to enhance gloss on black, red, and all dark vehicles.

Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze for Dark Vehicles makes it easy to maintain a show car shine, even on daily drivers. You know how tough it is to detail as often as you’d like. You can’t get out the polisher for every new swirl. Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze for Dark Vehicles allows you to hide minor imperfections on dark vehicles until you can remove them.

Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze for dark vehicles is a wipe on, wipe off product. Spread with a soft, clean foam applicator. If applying by machine, set your polisher to a low speed and work until a shine begins to appear.

How To Use

Glazing

  1. Wash and dry the car first.
  2. Apply a little to a foam applicator or pad, as the bottle directs.
  3. Spread it thinly over one panel at a time.
  4. Buff off with a clean microfibre, as the bottle directs.

Afterwards

  1. Inspect the paint in good light.
  2. Add a wax or sealant on top if the bottle suggests it.
  3. Wash the applicator after use.
  4. Store the bottle upright out of direct sunlight.

Top Tip: Thin layers spread further and buff off more easily than a thick coat.

The Brand

Poorboy's World

Poorboy's World is an American car care brand. Its own history tells how its founder, Steve, known as Poorboy, spent years selling detailing products on the street rod and classic car show circuit before working with a chemist on formulas of his own, and how Poorboy's World Inc. made its debut in August 2002 at the Wheels of Time street rod show in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Today the company has its headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida, and its manufacturing in Albemarle, North Carolina, and says its car care formulas are made in-house by its own chemist and formulators, in the USA. Its motto sums up the approach: don't expect fancy packaging, expect great results.

Poorboy's World glazes, waxes and wash products

Show glazes. Black Hole is formulated for black, red and other dark colours: it cleans and fills light swirl marks to leave a glossy, slick show car shine, wipes on and off by hand with a soft foam applicator, or goes on by machine at low speed. White Diamond does the same job for light colours, on clear coat, single stage or ceramic coated paint, before a sealant or wax.

Natty's paste waxes. All four come in an 8oz (236ml) jar and keep the easy on, easy off feel. Natty's Original suits any colour, can be used in sun or shade and contains UV absorbers against oxidation. Natty's Blue is made for darker cars, also works in sun or shade and smells of bubble gum. Natty's Black blends 100% Brazilian carnauba with UV absorbers and is at its best on black paint, especially over Black Hole. Natty's Red is a limited edition for any colour, with a wild strawberry scent.

Wash and quick detail. Super Slick and Suds is a concentrated, pH neutral, high-suds shampoo that will not strip existing wax or sealant and rinses free of residue. QD+ Quick Detailer Plus mixes Brazilian carnauba and polymers to lift dust and fingerprints and top up a wax such as Natty's. Bird Sh#t Remover takes bird droppings, bugs, sap and fresh tar off paint, glass, plastic, vinyl and chrome: spray, count to five and wipe. Natural Look is a water-based interior dressing with UV protection that leaves a non-greasy matte finish on leather, vinyl, rubber and plastic.

Poorboy's World polishers, tools and merchandise

Dual action polishers. The DA-1000 replaced the DA-900 with a new casing, quieter gearing and a 1000-watt motor, and has an 8mm orbit. The DA-15PRO also has a 1000-watt motor but a 15mm orbit, so it covers more paint per revolution, with a non-slip rubber coated head and handle. The 900W Dual Action Polishing Machine comes with a UK 240v plug and is CE marked. All three apply compounds, polishes, glazes, waxes and sealants.

Tools. The Bucket and Grit Guard holds 18.9 litres (5 gallons) and comes with one grit guard. The Boars Hair Detailing Brushes come in 10mm, 14mm, 16mm and 18mm, with chemical resistant bristles and handles, for vents, seat seams, badges, grilles, wheel nuts and engine bays.
