The Poorboy’s World DA-1000 Dual Action Polisher is a polishing machine that is easy to use and produces fantastic results.

The DA-1000 replaces the incredibly popular Poorboy’s DA-900 machine. The updated machine has a new casing, quieter gearing and a more powerful 1000-watt motor.

This machine can be used to apply compounds and polishes to your paintwork. The machine safely removes swirl marks and paint defects.

The DA-1000 is also perfect for applying glazes, waxes and sealants.

Using a polishing machine provides superior results compared to polishing by hand.

The new Poorboy’s machine is just as reliable as the previous model but features improved balance and increased power.

Whether you are a professional detailer or a car enthusiast, this machine will deliver the finish you require.

This machine has an 8mm orbit (throw) compared to the 15mm throw of the Poorboy’s World DA-15PRO Dual Action Polishing Machine.

How To Use

Polishing

  1. Wash, decontaminate and dry the car first.
  2. Fit a clean pad centred on the backing plate.
  3. Prime the pad with a little polish and spread it at low speed.
  4. Work small sections with slow overlapping passes, then wipe off and check.

Afterwards

  1. Switch it off and disconnect the power.
  2. Remove and clean the pad.
  3. Blow dust from the vents.
  4. Store it dry, in its case if it has one.

Top Tip: Starting with the least aggressive pad and polish that works keeps as much clear coat as possible.
