The Brand

Status Error

Status Error is a UK car culture brand. In its own words, it was established in 2012 and is one of the longest running car culture clothing and accessory companies in the UK. Its website has offered clothing, accessories, hats, stickers, floor mats and JDM car gear for enthusiasts of the JDM lifestyle and car culture, and the brand has said its garments are printed in the UK and shipped from the Status Error Glasgow warehouse.

The Drivers HQ stocks Status Error car decals, lanyards, hanging air fresheners and T-shirts. Decals make up most of the range, from the Classic Logo, Heart Drip Logo and Logo Outline stickers to the Kanjo Mask, New Skull and Ice Cream Girl designs, including a Special Edition New Skull sticker. The hanging air fresheners come in Bubblegum scent with Eunicorn, Ice Cream Girl and Skull designs, the lanyards include Baby Black, Baby Pink and Ice Cream Girl, and the T-shirts include Drive or Die and Super Drift Kart.

Status Error suits drivers who want their car, keys and wardrobe to show the scene they belong to. A sticker on the bodywork or rear glass, a hanging air freshener in the cabin and a lanyard for the keys are simple ways to finish a build or mark a new project. The designs draw on Japanese car culture, from the Kanjo Mask sticker to the Japanese text on the Drive or Die T-shirt, so they sit naturally on a JDM car or at a meet.

Buy Status Error from The Drivers HQ with UK-wide delivery by tracked Royal Mail, or pick up your order from our walk-in store in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, where Click & Collect is free. Stickers, lanyards and air fresheners are easy additions to a car care order, and a Status Error T-shirt or sticker makes a simple gift for anyone into modified cars and JDM culture. You can mix designs and product types in a single order.

Status Error Ice Cream Girl Air Freshener - Bubblegum - The Drivers HQ

Car Culture Clothing Since 2012

Status Error describes itself as established in 2012 and as one of the longest running car culture clothing and accessory companies in the UK. The brand speaks in the first person on its site, and its message to supporters is a simple one: help it build the brand of its dreams while it helps them build the car of theirs.

Its clothing has been described as printed in the UK and shipped directly from the Status Error Glasgow warehouse. Beyond T-shirts and hooded sweaters, the brand's site has covered stickers, accessories, universal floor mats and workshop flags, and it says its accessories run from air fresheners and phone cases to key clips and lanyards.

Recurring characters tie the brand together. The Ice Cream Girl and the Status Error skull appear across its stickers, air fresheners and clothing, and the brand has sold its Classic Skull and Ice Cream Girl air fresheners in Bubblegum scent. Those same characters feature in the Status Error range at The Drivers HQ.

Stickers, Air Fresheners and Lanyards

Car decals make up most of the Status Error range at The Drivers HQ. The brand describes its stickers as waterproof, scratch and fade resistant, and suitable for long term indoor and outdoor use. It describes its Classic Logo sticker as a die-cut vinyl sticker with a Japanese logo, while designs such as the Ice Cream Girl have been made as printed and laminated stickers with a white outline.

The hanging air fresheners carry three of the brand's designs, Eunicorn, Ice Cream Girl and Skull, all in Bubblegum scent. The brand's own description of its Skull air freshener notes the skull design on both sides, so the design shows whichever way it turns.

The lanyards come in Baby Black, Baby Pink and Ice Cream Girl designs, and the T-shirts include Drive or Die and Super Drift Kart. Together with the stickers and air fresheners, they let you carry the same Status Error look from the car to your keys and your wardrobe.
