Full Description

VP-UK Glass Cleaner is a ceramic glass cleaner for the inside and outside of the car. It lifts dirt, grime and fingerprints for a streak-free finish and leaves a hydrophobic seal on the glass, so rain beads and runs off and the screen stays clearer in wet weather. It is safe on window tint, mirrored surfaces and plastic.

One bottle does every window, the mirrors and the screen, inside and out. It comes in 500ml, 1L and 5L.

How to use

  1. Spray a fine mist onto the glass.
  2. Wipe with a clean, dry cloth, using circular motions if needed.
  3. Keep wiping until the glass is clear and streak-free.
  4. If you see dirt or streaks while wiping, change to a fresh cloth: the old one is moving dirt around.

Cleaning

  1. Work on one window at a time.
  2. Spray it onto the glass or a clean microfibre, as the bottle directs.
  3. Wipe the glass clean.
  4. Buff it dry with a second, dry microfibre.

Finishing

  1. Check the glass from inside and outside for smears.
  2. Wind the windows down a little to clean the top edges.
  3. Wash the microfibres without fabric softener.
  4. Store it upright out of direct sunlight.

Top Tip: Buffing with a second, dry microfibre lifts the last film of cleaner before it can dry into a streak.

VP-UK wash, decontamination and protection

Wash. The Citrus Pre-Wash is a concentrate for the dirtiest lower panels, used down to a 50/50 mix for winter grime. Snow Foam is a thick citrus foam that clings for a long dwell without removing coatings: 100 to 150ml in a 1 litre cannon bottle, topped up with water. The pH Neutral Shampoo has no added gloss enhancers, so it suits gloss, satin and matte paint and wraps, and the Ceramic Shampoo is a low suds, high lubrication wash that lays down a ceramic layer VP-UK rates at three months.

Wheels and decontamination. The acid-free Wheel Cleaner is safe for regular use on alloy, chrome, painted and polished wheels, and the Fallout Remover turns blood red to purple as it dissolves iron from wheels and paint.

Polish and protect. Fast is a quick cutting liquid compound that removes sanding scratches and holograms, the All In One Compound breaks down from heavy cut to ultra fine finish, and the Final Polish refines and protects with carnauba, Montan wax and siloxane, by hand or machine. Dry Helmet is a ceramic sealant that leaves a siloxane layer, Wet & Dry Seal goes on the wet car as a drying aid rated at up to three months, and the Hybrid Quick Detailer adds gloss and a thin hydrophobic layer between washes.

VP-UK interior, glass and tyre care

Interior. Cleanse cuts through grease on plastics, leather, wood, carbon fibre and chrome, and the All Purpose Cleaner has a gentle foaming action for interior trim and headlinings as well as exterior plastics, engine bays and tyres. Leather Clean & Condition cleans and moisturises leather in one step, leaving a non-greasy satin finish, and also suits Alcantara and textiles. The Femme and Homme odour eliminators break down bad smells and leave a perfume or cologne fragrance.

Glass. The Glass Cleaner cleans inside and out and leaves a hydrophobic seal, safe on tint, mirrors and plastic, and the concentrated Ceramic Washer Fluid leaves a ceramic layer on the screen as you drive; mix it stronger for winter and weaker for summer.

Tyres. The silicone based Tyre Dressing does not sling: one layer gives a satin factory look and each extra layer builds towards a wet gloss.

Starter box. The Essentials Box puts six 500ml bottles together: Fallout Remover, pH Neutral Shampoo, Dry Helmet, Cleanse, Snow Foam and Citrus Pre-Wash. Most VP-UK liquids come in 500ml, 1L and 5L.
