Jelly Belly 3D bean air fresheners

The bean. Each 3D air freshener is a gel shaped like a single Jelly Belly bean, with the logo across it, and hangs from the rear-view mirror. The fragrance lasts up to 30 days, and the fresheners suit the car, home or office.

Fruit flavours. Blueberry has a bright top note of green basil over vanilla and tonka. Wild Blackberry blends blueberry, raspberry and black raspberry, smoothed by musk and vanilla. Very Cherry is a sparkling Jewel bean with a rich red cherry heart and touches of banana and creamy vanilla. Tangerine is zesty mandarin over sunny tangerine, sweetened with sugar, and Lemon Drop is sweet and tart sugared lemon with a touch of vanilla. Top Banana is the yellow bean, and Mango is the lime green one, an 18g bean on a card with a scratch and sniff spot.

Tropical and fruity mixes. Island Punch is a fruity cocktail of cherry, mandarin and ripe raspberry with pineapple, Tutti-Fruitti surrounds ripe raspberry with banana, mandarin and vanilla, Crushed Pineapple pairs sunny pineapple with vanilla, and Coconut blends creamy notes, warm vanilla and tropical coconut.

Sweet. Vanilla is a gourmand favourite of creamy notes, classic French vanilla and warm tonka bean, and Bubble Gum blends wintergreen and clove with vanilla, fruity orange and banana.

About Jelly Belly

Jelly Belly is the American jelly bean brand. Its own heritage page says its roots go back to the 19th century, and that in the 1960s the company that would become Jelly Belly was the first to put flavour in the centre of a jelly bean as well as the shell. The first eight Jelly Belly flavours arrived in 1976, and seven of them are still among its most popular. The company moved to Fairfield, California, in 1986, now reaches over 70 countries, and has been part of Ferrara Candy Company since 2023. The car air fresheners carry those flavours into the cabin: they are made by Energizer Group Limited, using the Jelly Belly trademarks under licence from Jelly Belly Candy Company.

Jelly Belly cocktail scents and safe use

Cocktail scents. The Cocktail Classics pair are Peach Bellini, an orange gel bean on a dark navy card with a cocktail glass in the corner, and Strawberry Daiquiri, a pale pink 18g bean on a black card. Margarita recreates the drink with zesty tequila and sugared lime over a warm amber base, and the Mojito Cocktail is cool spearmint and zesty lime with a hint of vanilla sweetness.

Where to hang it. Hang the bean from the rear-view mirror so it hangs freely: the maker advises avoiding direct contact with textiles and plastic parts, so keep it off the seats, the dashboard and the trim. For the best result, freshen a clean cabin: vacuum the carpets and seats and deal with the source of any smell first.

Not a sweet. These fresheners look like jelly beans, but the maker states that they are not toys and are not suitable as a child's plaything, so keep them out of reach of small children.
