About the range

Lanyards

Car culture lanyards for keys, ID cards and work passes. The range runs from Strictly Static lanyards such as Blossom and Dirt Nasty Lows to Late Brake Supply and EuroStance JDM designs, Driver Apparel Flip Lanyards and the Slow Car Club keyring lanyard.

How to choose

  • Length: full-length lanyards go round the neck, while short ones, such as keyring lanyards, hang from the wrist or a belt loop.
  • Printed or woven: a printed lanyard carries detailed artwork and bright colours, while on a woven lanyard the design is part of the strap, so it will not rub off, though the detail is simpler.
  • End fitting: a split ring holds keys most securely, and a clip that comes apart lets you hand over the car key and keep the lanyard on.

Good to know

On a car with a turn key, take the key off a long lanyard before you drive: a strap hanging from the ignition can catch on your knee.

Printed or woven lanyard: which is better?

A printed lanyard carries detailed artwork and bright colours. On a woven lanyard the design is part of the strap, so it will not rub off, though the detail is simpler. For keys, a split ring holds most securely, and a clip that comes apart lets you hand over the car key and keep the lanyard on.
