CARPRO was established in 2009 and operates from Korea, with its own laboratory and manufacturing facility supporting product development and production. Ceramic protection has been central to the company from the beginning, with CQUARTZ helping introduce nanotechnology-based automotive coatings to markets where this type of protection was still relatively unfamiliar.

Rather than remaining solely a coating manufacturer, CARPRO has developed products around the preparation, correction and maintenance required to make those coatings work properly. That technical approach remains one of the clearest characteristics of the brand.

CARPRO's range follows the complete surface-care process. IronX chemically breaks down embedded ferrous contamination and remains one of the brand's most recognisable products, while compounds and polishes including ClearCut, Reflect and Essence cover defect removal, finishing and coating preparation.

Protection is then handled through products developed for different surfaces and levels of use rather than a single universal coating. The wider catalogue is organised across preparation, protection, maintenance, PPF and accessories, covering paint, glass, plastics, fabrics, wheels and other vehicle surfaces.

This makes CARPRO particularly useful as a system. Decontamination, polishing, surface preparation, coating and subsequent maintenance can all be carried out using products developed within the same range.

CQUARTZ remains the core of CARPRO's protection range, but the coating system now spans very different applications. CQUARTZ UK 3.0 is positioned as a consumer-grade ceramic coating and is formulated to remain workable across a wide 3°C to 40°C application range, while CQUARTZ Professional and Finest Reserve sit within CARPRO's professional installer network.

CARPRO has continued to develop beyond conventional SiO₂ coatings. DQUARTZ uses a functionalised nano-diamond and siloxane system designed to increase the mechanical resistance of the treated surface, while the Immortal range extends CARPRO into paint protection film, windscreen film and related installation products.

The result is a brand that now covers considerably more than detailing chemicals, while still retaining surface preparation and protection as the technical core of the range.
