How To Use

Using it

  1. Fit a 3/4" standard garden hose adaptor to the inlet, connect your garden hose and turn the water on fully.
  2. Attach the high pressure hose, gun, lance and nozzle, and check every connection is tight or locked.
  3. Squeeze the trigger to purge air, then switch the machine on at the rocker switch.
  4. On paintwork, use a wide fan nozzle and keep the lance a sensible distance from the surface.
  5. With the Standard Kit, fit the supplied 1.45mm nozzle when running an aftermarket foam cannon.
  6. Switch off and squeeze the trigger to release pressure before changing nozzles or accessories.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Switch off, unplug and turn off the water, then squeeze the trigger to release trapped pressure.
  2. Disconnect the hoses and let water drain from the gun, lance and nozzles.
  3. Rinse snow foam and chemical residue off the accessories with clean water.
  4. Coil the high pressure hose and power cable loosely, without sharp bends.
  5. Store the machine indoors, upright and protected from frost.
  6. With the Standard Kit, the wall-mountable cage keeps the machine off the floor, and the washer lifts out of its frame.

Top Tip: Active strongly recommends steel braided hoses with the 2.0, so choose one when building a Machine Only setup.
