Native 21 is a pop culture gift brand from Warrington, Cheshire, according to the address on its website. Alongside greetings cards, gift wrap, clothing and mugs, it made car air fresheners printed with food, meme and TV inspired designs, and its home page description summed up the idea with the line "Smelly car? We got you." According to its wholesale page, its cards, gift wrap and air fresheners were stocked by gift shops across the UK and USA.

Native 21 built its range around pop culture. Its website offered greetings cards, gift wrap, clothing, mugs, notebooks, art prints and car stickers, with car air fresheners first in its menu and named in its site title.

The footer of its website gave a Warrington address, first on Howley Lane and later on London Road in Stockton Heath. Its wholesale page said it stocked with a range of gift shops across the UK and USA, and was always looking for new stores to share its pop culture greetings cards, gift wrap and air fresheners with.

Customers were invited to share their own ideas too. The air freshener menu included a Submit Your Idea page, designs were grouped into themes such as Memes, TV Icons and Foodie, and a monthly air freshener subscription box was offered.

Named Scents and Foodie Designs

Every Native 21 air freshener pairs a printed design with a named scent. The brand said its fresheners were lovingly made with quality board and essential oils, and designed to hang freely in your car, or even your home, for a long lasting fresh aroma.

Its scents page described each fragrance in its own playful way. Squeaky Clean was pitched as that new car smell, Cake My Day as good enough to eat with vanilla slice, Victoria sponge and fairy cakes in mind, Silky Draws as a light and fresh scent that takes you to the beach bar, and Apple Bottom Jeans as sweet and tangy but fresh. Gold Digger was compared to an expensive cologne.

The designs we stock lean into food and pop culture.
