Full Description

SOFT99 Digloss Kamitore Wheel and Tire Cleaner cleans wheels and tyres in one step. It breaks up and removes brake dust, tar and other dirt, then leaves a protective film that helps stop dirt building up again.

Soft99 designed it to clean many types of tyres and rims safely, and it works best with a brush. The profiled handle holds brushes on the bottle: two Digloss Tire Brushes, one Digloss Tyre Brush, or two Soft99 Exterior Brushes (24 mm and 16 mm). It can also be used on hubcaps. Do not use it on polished or anodised rims, or on rims made of anything other than steel or aluminium, such as magnesium.

Digloss Kamitore covers the wheel and tyre stage of a wash with one bottle. Soft99 made it to break up brake dust, tar and road dirt on rims and tyres and to leave a protective film that slows the next build-up. Work on cool wheels only, never hot rims or brakes. Shake the bottle, open the atomiser, spray the wheel several times from 10 to 15 cm, wait about 30 seconds and agitate with a brush before rinsing thoroughly with a pressure washer. The handle is shaped to carry brushes, including two Soft99 Exterior Brushes, so the brush stays with the bottle. Keep it off polished, anodised and magnesium rims, as Soft99 limits it to steel and aluminium.

How To Use

Cleaning

  1. Work only when the rims and brakes are cool.
  2. Shake the bottle and turn the atomiser to the open position, marked with the 出 symbol.
  3. Spray the wheel several times from about 10 to 15 cm.
  4. Wait about 30 seconds.
  5. Clean the wheel and tyre with a brush.

Rinsing

  1. Rinse the surface thoroughly with high pressure water.
  2. Make sure all the product is removed.
  3. Dry the wheels with a towel or microfibre if needed.
  4. Rinse the trigger nozzle with water after use.

Top Tip: Clip two Soft99 Exterior Brushes to the handle so the right brush is always with the bottle.

Soft99 waxes, sealants and shampoos

Fusso Coat. Fusso Coat 12 Months, in Dark and Light, is made with fluorine resins and waxes and rated by Soft99 for up to 12 months of water repellent protection. Wash and dry the car, apply it thinly, and once it has dried, after 5 to 20 minutes depending on the temperature, wipe it off with a soft dry towel. Fusso Coat Speed & Barrier is the fluoropolymer spray for keeping it topped up, rated at up to 180 days.

Gloss waxes. The Kiwami blends carnauba with synthetic polymers for up to three months of deep gloss, in Black/Dark and Silver/Light. The King of Gloss is a mineral wax and synthetic resin blend for black and dark paint, and Water Block Wax is a strongly water repellent polymer sealant in Dark and Light.

Sprays. Fukupika Spray Strong Type cleans and waxes in one spray and wipe with no drying or re-wiping, using fluorine resin for up to six months of water repellency. Bazooka Rain Drop goes on the wet car after washing and protects paint, glass, plastic and chrome.

Shampoos. pH Neutral Creamy Shampoo is a compound-free, 1:50 shampoo that is safe on coated cars and works in foamers, Perfect Foam Type S is an 11ml single-wash concentrate diluted 1:100, and The Kiwami shampoo comes in Dark and Silver to match the waxes.

Soft99 Glaco glass care and detailing tools

Glaco. Soft99 launched its Glaco glass water repellents in 1991. The roll-on coatings leave the screen repelling rain so it is blown off by the airflow as you drive: Ultra Glaco Roll On in 70ml, Glaco Roll On in 120ml and the 300ml Glaco Roll On MAX, made to mark 30 years of Glaco. Glaco Mirror Coat Zero is a 40ml spray for side mirrors that leaves a layer of fine silica crystals. Prepare the glass first with the Glaco Glass Compound Roll On, which uses two abrasives to remove stains, traffic film and old Glaco.

Tools. The Super Water Absorber is a quilted drying cloth; wash it without fabric softener. The Surface Smoother Mini is a 100g clay bar for bonded contamination. The Exterior Brush has synthetic bristles for wheels, grilles and badges, the Interior Detailing Brush natural bristles for vents and dashboards, and the Digloss Kamitore wheel sponge cut-pile microfibre over a durable inner sponge.
