Clean & Repel has the powerful glass cleaning properties of Invisible Glass with added rain repellent.

Its hydrophobic qualities help to repel rain, snow and ice.

This rain repellent glass cleaner is for use on exterior glass only. Use it on your exterior windscreens, windows and mirrors.

The powerful formula removes tough dirt, dust, sap, droppings, grease, adhesives, fingerprints, pollutants and other oily grime.

Clean & Repel gives your windscreen a streak-free shine plus a hydrophobic coating that repels water faster than untreated glass. This coating will also help prevent road dirt, bugs and bird droppings from bonding to your windscreen.

This glass cleaner improves visibility and driving conditions by repelling rain and is used by professional racing teams around the world.

How To Use

Cleaning

  1. Work on one window at a time.
  2. Spray it onto the glass or a clean microfibre, as the bottle directs.
  3. Wipe the glass clean.
  4. Buff it dry with a second, dry microfibre.

Finishing

  1. Check the glass from inside and outside for smears.
  2. Wind the windows down a little to clean the top edges.
  3. Wash the microfibres without fabric softener.
  4. Store it upright out of direct sunlight.

Top Tip: Buffing with a second, dry microfibre lifts the last film of cleaner before it can dry into a streak.

Stoner Car Care is the car care brand of Stoner, Inc., a third-generation, family-owned company founded by Paul Stoner in 1942 in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, where it still formulates and manufactures its products. It began as the Stoner Ink Company making printing inks, moved into mould release for the rubber and plastic industries, and turned to automotive polishes and waxes in the 1970s. Stoner calls Invisible Glass America's number one selling automotive glass cleaner, and the brand is the official car care product provider of the Ford Performance Racing School.

Invisible Glass cleaners and tools

The formula. Invisible Glass contains no soaps, scents or dyes, so nothing is left on the glass to cause streaks or haze, and Stoner says independent laboratories have tested it as residue-free. It is ammonia-free, and Stoner states it is safe on factory and aftermarket tinted windows and in enclosed spaces when used as directed.

Spray or aerosol. The Invisible Glass Cleaner is the trigger spray, and the Invisible Glass Aerosol (572ml) sprays a light mist that sticks to the glass instead of running down it. Both clean car windows and mirrors, and in the home shower screens, glass tables, microwave doors and glass oven doors. Wipe off with a clean microfibre cloth.

Wipes. The Invisible Glass Cleaner Wipes come pre-saturated in a resealable canister for smoke, haze, film, bug splatter, bird droppings, salt spray and road grime on car glass. The Lens & Screen Wipes are 40 individually packed 5 x 6in wipes for glasses, camera lenses, binoculars, phone cameras and safety goggles; Stoner suggests keeping a box in the car.

Reach & Clean tool. The inside of a windscreen is the hardest glass to reach. The Quick Change Reach & Clean Tool has a long, sturdy handle and a triangular pivoting head with a foam cushion, and its Quick Change waffle-weave microfibres attach in seconds. A mesh bag is included for storing and washing them.

Rain repellent and windscreen treatment

Clean & Repel. Invisible Glass Clean & Repel (650ml) cleans like Invisible Glass and adds a rain repellent in the same step. It removes dirt, dust, sap, droppings, grease, adhesive, fingerprints and oily grime, and leaves a hydrophobic layer that repels rain, snow and ice and helps stop road dirt, bugs and bird droppings bonding to the glass. It is for exterior glass only: windscreens, windows and mirrors.

Rain Repellent treatment. The Invisible Glass Rain Repellent (237ml) is a dedicated windscreen treatment that bonds to the glass, and Stoner says it lasts for months. Rain beads up and runs off instead of sheeting across the screen, and bugs, bird droppings, salt, ice and frost come off more easily when you clean it. Exterior glass only.

Which to choose. For glass you clean often and want some water beading, use Clean & Repel. For a dedicated windscreen treatment that Stoner says lasts for months, use the Rain Repellent, then keep the inside of the screen clear with the Invisible Glass Cleaner and the Reach & Clean tool.
