A blue card in the style of the VW Parking Only sign: a pale border, the VW roundel and Parking Only in pale lettering on dark blue. The scent is Fresh. More from the range: GTI Coconut, VW Logo and T1 Bus Lemon.

It is an officially licensed Volkswagen product by BRISA. The card is a special cardboard laminated with paper on both sides, and the maker says its side edge scent dosing gives a long lasting, even release. The card measures 7 x 9cm, small enough to hang without getting in the way of your view.

Expert Notes

The BRISA VW Parking Only air freshener is a blue, flat 2D card in the design of the VW Parking Only sign, with a Fresh scent that BRISA describes as light and refreshing. It measures 7 x 9cm, is printed in four colours on double-sided special cardboard and gives a subtle, long-lasting fragrance release. It is officially licensed by Volkswagen and made in the Czech Republic. An elastic band on the card lets it hang in a car, campervan, tent or living space. We suggest it as the last step after an interior clean: vacuum, wipe down with a suitable interior cleaner, then hang one card clear of the driver's view.

Perfect For / Suitable Surfaces

  • Cars
  • Campervans
  • Tents
  • Living spaces
  • VW fan collections
  • Gifts for VW fans

Caution: Hang it where it cannot block your view of the road, and keep the scented card from resting against dashboards, trim or upholstery.

How To Use

Using it

  1. Open the packaging in just one spot at first if you are sensitive to scents, as BRISA advises.
  2. Hang the card by its elastic band from a grab handle, coat hook or headrest post.
  3. Keep it clear of your view through the windscreen and away from airbag areas.
  4. Let the card hang freely so it does not rest on the dashboard, trim or seats.
  5. Open the wrapper further when you want more of the fresh scent.

Making it last

  1. Vacuum and clean the interior first so the fragrance is not covering old odours.
  2. Keep it out of strong direct sunlight, as heat makes any scented card fade sooner.
  3. Use one air freshener at a time so fragrances do not compete.
  4. Keep spare cards sealed in their wrapper in a cool, dry place.
  5. Replace the card once the fresh scent has faded to your liking.

Top Tip: A rear grab handle or coat hook keeps the Parking Only sign on show without it swinging near the windscreen.

Performance Benefits

  • Adds a light, refreshing fragrance
  • Releases scent subtly over time
  • Hangs anywhere by its elastic band
  • Brings classic VW sign styling inside
  • Suits campervans, tents and living spaces
  • Makes a simple gift for VW fans
