KIRKLAND ULTRA PLUSH MICROFIBRE - The Drivers HQ

The cloth. An ultra plush microfibre cloth about 40.6 x 40.6cm, in a blend of 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. It lifts and traps dirt and moisture and leaves a clean, dry, polished surface.

Wet or dry. Used dry, it picks up dust without scratching, linting or streaking. Used wet, Kirkland says it absorbs 8 times its own weight in water.

Where it works. Safe on all surfaces around the home and on cars, motorcycles, boats and aircraft, and good at cleaning with little or no chemical help, which suits quick detail spray wipe downs, glass and interiors.

Getting the most from plush microfibre

One job per cloth. Keep separate cloths for paint, glass, interior and wheels, so grime from one job is never carried to another.

Fold it. Fold the cloth in four for eight clean faces, and turn to a fresh one as each fills.

For buffing. The plush pile is ideal for removing detail spray, quick detailer and wax residue; use light pressure and let the fibres do the work.

Washing. Wash microfibre with other microfibre at a low to medium temperature, with no fabric softener, then air dry or tumble dry on low.
