These ultra plush Kirkland Signature Microfibre Cloths will lift and trap dirt and moisture, leaving a clean, dry and polished surface. They are safe to use on all surfaces around the home and on cars, motorcycles, aircraft, or boats. The cloths are environmentally friendly in that they require little to no water, reducing waste. In addition, these microfibre towels are especially adept at cleaning without the use of chemicals.

Use them dry, and they will work like magic without scratching, linting, or streaking. Use them wet and they will absorb 8 times their own weight in water. Microfibre works by attracting dust and other contaminants like a magnet and trapping them within its very fine microscopic filaments. The fibres are so tiny they are able to remove 99% of bacteria effortlessly. These microfibre cloths can be washed and reused hundreds of times.

Kirkland Signature

Kirkland Signature is Costco's own private label brand, found on a wide range of products sold through the membership warehouse club. Costco describes Kirkland Signature products as more than just a house brand and says the label has been loved by its members since 1995, with products running from grocery and household essentials to clothing and luggage. According to Wikipedia, the name comes from Kirkland, an eastern suburb of Seattle where Costco was formerly based, before the company moved its headquarters to Issaquah in 1996.

Kirkland Signature belongs to Costco Wholesale Corporation, which Wikipedia describes as an American multinational corporation that operates a chain of membership-only big-box warehouse club retail stores. Costco itself calls Kirkland Signature its exclusive private label brand, and sums it up in a single line: Kirkland Signature means quality and value.

The name has a local story behind it. Costco's worldwide headquarters are in Issaquah, Washington, an eastern suburb of Seattle, but the Kirkland Signature house label is named after the company's former location in Kirkland, another eastern Seattle suburb. Costco moved its headquarters from Kirkland to Issaquah in 1996, and its UK site says Kirkland Signature has been loved by Costco members since 1995.

Costco presents the label as one of the main reasons to become a member, and invites shoppers to compare any Kirkland Signature product with its brand name counterpart. The range covers everything from grocery and household essentials to clothing and luggage, and it even extends to Kirkland Signature Fuel.
