Angelwax EXCELSIOR is our fabulous soft-top cleaner which has been brilliantly formulated to remove the dirt & grime from convertible soft tops quickly, safely and effectively.

Angelwax EXCELSIOR also contains a UV inhibitor to prevent the fibres in your convertible soft top being broken down by strong sunlight.

On the variety of materials associated with convertible soft tops, Angelwax EXCELSIOR gets to work straight away by breaking down stains associated with mildew, bird lime, moss and other contaminants.

Angelwax EXCELSIOR is safe to use on canvas, mohair, cloth and vinyl tops.

Angelwax Excelsior is a dedicated cleaner for convertible soft tops, suitable for canvas, mohair, cloth and vinyl roofs. Angelwax says it removes dirt, grime, mildew, tree pollen and bird lime, and the formula contains UV inhibitors to help protect roof fabric from fading and deterioration in prolonged sun. It suits regular maintenance as well as restoration cleaning on neglected roofs. Rinse the roof first, spray on evenly, agitate gently with a soft brush where needed, then rinse thoroughly and let it dry. The 500ml size comes with a trigger sprayer and a 5L size is available for frequent users. Once the roof is dry, follow up with a soft top protector suited to the material.

How To Use

Application

  1. Rinse the soft top thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.
  2. Work in the shade on a roof that is cool to the touch.
  3. Spray Angelwax Excelsior evenly across one section of the roof.
  4. Agitate gently with a suitable soft brush if required.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water before moving to the next section.
  6. Repeat on stubborn mildew or moss marks if needed.

Aftercare

  1. Allow the roof to dry fully before folding it down.
  2. Apply a soft top protector once the roof is completely dry, if desired.
  3. Rinse brushes thoroughly and let them dry before storage.
  4. Store the bottle sealed, upright and away from heat and frost.
  5. Clean the roof regularly so mildew and moss do not take hold.

Top Tip: Never fold a damp soft top away, as trapped moisture encourages mildew and musty odours.

Angelwax describes itself as more than just another detailing brand. In its own words, the people behind it are innovators, chemists and perfectionists with over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry, who have spent years developing and refining their range of detailing products. Waxes, Wheel Care and Wash Essentials

Waxes are at the heart of the Angelwax range. Formulation #1 is a carnauba detailing wax that the brand says is hand-poured in small batches from natural waxes and oils, delivers a deep wet-look gloss and needs only a thin application layer. Dark Angel was developed specifically for black and dark-coloured vehicles, blended with natural waxes and conditioning oils to enrich dark paint tones and help reduce the appearance of light swirls and wash marks.

The Bilberry name runs through the brand's wheel care. Bilberry wheel cleaner is a non-acidic formula for removing brake dust and road grime, and Angelwax describes it as safe for all wheel types, including painted, lacquered and powder-coated finishes. Bilberry Wheel Wax then adds a protective barrier against brake dust and road grime to help keep wheels cleaner for longer, and the same bilberry fragrance is available as a hanging air freshener.

For the wash, Angelwax says FastFoam produces a thick foam that clings to the car to loosen dirt and traffic film before contact washing, and that it is safe for waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings when used correctly.
