How To Use

Application

  1. Make sure the surface is cool and clean before you start.
  2. Spray QED lightly onto the panel or directly onto a microfibre cloth.
  3. Wipe evenly across the surface, one panel at a time.
  4. Buff straight away with a clean, dry microfibre towel.
  5. Turn the towel to a fresh face as it becomes damp.

Aftercare

  1. Use QED regularly to maintain gloss and protection between washes.
  2. Give the car a full wash when it carries more than light dust.
  3. Wash used microfibres without fabric softener.
  4. Keep the bottle sealed and upright, away from frost and direct heat.

Top Tip: Use two towels: one to spread QED across the panel and a second, dry towel for the final buff.

Angelwax describes itself as more than just another detailing brand. In its own words, the people behind it are innovators, chemists and perfectionists with over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry, who have spent years developing and refining their range of detailing products. The brand says every formula is crafted with precision and tested across the globe.

All Angelwax products are designed, formulated and manufactured at the brand's global headquarters in Scotland, which it lists at the Airlink Industrial Estate in Paisley. Several of its product descriptions refer to formulas developed in-house at its UK laboratory, including the Cleanliness pre-wash and Blue Rinse. Alongside its Scottish base, the brand also lists a European distribution centre and a distribution office and warehouse in the USA.

Formulation #1 has a long history with the brand. Angelwax says it was the very first detailing wax the brand developed, and that it has remained a favourite with enthusiasts and professional detailers since its original launch in 2009. Waxes, Wheel Care and Wash Essentials

Waxes are at the heart of the Angelwax range. Formulation #1 is a carnauba detailing wax that the brand says is hand-poured in small batches from natural waxes and oils, delivers a deep wet-look gloss and needs only a thin application layer. Dark Angel was developed specifically for black and dark-coloured vehicles, blended with natural waxes and conditioning oils to enrich dark paint tones and help reduce the appearance of light swirls and wash marks.

The Bilberry name runs through the brand's wheel care. Bilberry wheel cleaner is a non-acidic formula for removing brake dust and road grime, and Angelwax describes it as safe for all wheel types, including painted, lacquered and powder-coated finishes. Bilberry Wheel Wax then adds a protective barrier against brake dust and road grime to help keep wheels cleaner for longer, and the same bilberry fragrance is available as a hanging air freshener.

For the wash, Angelwax says FastFoam produces a thick foam that clings to the car to loosen dirt and traffic film before contact washing, and that it is safe for waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings when used correctly.
