Full Description

Angelwax REVENGE BUG & INSECT REMOVER has been designed to safely and effectively remove stubborn insects and their residue from all exterior surfaces including paint, chrome and glass.

Angelwax REVENGE is a completely wax safe, water based formulation that is environmentally safe, biodegradable and free of harmful solvents. With its fresh citrus smell, this 'spray on' & 'rinse off' formulation gets to work quickly removing flies and other insects from the paint surface. If insects are left to decay on the body of the vehicle they can cause staining to the paintwork if left untreated.

Angelwax Revenge is a spray on, rinse off bug and insect remover for the areas that take the most hits: bumpers, mirrors, windscreens and front panels. It is a water based, biodegradable formula with a fresh citrus smell, and Angelwax states it is safe on waxed and sealed surfaces, so it can be used on protected paint during a maintenance wash. Spray it on, leave it for 3 to 4 minutes, agitate stubborn spots with a soft mitt, then rinse thoroughly and never let it dry. In a summer wash it fits in as the first step, followed by snow foam, a two bucket contact wash and a plush drying towel. Available in 500ml and 5L.

How To Use

Application

  1. Work on cool panels out of direct sunlight.
  2. Spray Revenge liberally onto the affected areas, such as bumpers, mirrors and the windscreen.
  3. Leave it to dwell for 3 to 4 minutes without letting it dry.
  4. Agitate stubborn contamination gently with a soft wash mitt or microfibre cloth if required.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer or hose pipe.
  6. Repeat on heavy build-up rather than scrubbing hard.

Aftercare

  1. Carry on with your normal pre-wash and contact wash straight after rinsing.
  2. Inspect bumpers and mirrors and re-treat any remaining residue.
  3. Dry the vehicle with a clean drying towel to avoid water spots.
  4. Rinse the mitt or cloth used for agitation before it touches other panels.
  5. Store the bottle sealed, upright and away from frost and heat.

Top Tip: Treat insect splatter soon after a drive, because insects left to decay on the bodywork can stain the paint.

Angelwax waxes, polishes and protection

Waxes. Formulation #1 is a hand-poured carnauba wax of natural waxes and oils that needs only a thin coat, rated by Angelwax at up to six months. Dark Angel is made for black and dark paint: it enriches dark tones, helps hide light swirls and wash marks, and carries a chocolate scent. The Fifth Element is a high endurance show wax of four natural waxes and passion fruit oil, and Luminosity Matte Wax protects matte, satin and wrapped finishes without adding gloss, kept clean between washes with Luminosity QED.

Polishing. Resurrection is the heavy cut compound, rated to remove sanding marks up to 1,500 grade, Regenerate is the medium cut swirl remover, and Redemption is the ultra fine finishing polish that takes out holograms and P3000 sanding marks. By hand, Perfect Polish is a pre-wax cleanser with ultra fine abrasives, and Stripped-Ease removes old wax, sealant and polishing oils before fresh protection.

Glass and quick protection. H2GO is a glass rain repellent that Angelwax says makes rain bead off from as low as 20mph, applied after cleaning with Vision, a fast flashing glass cleaner that is safe on tinted windows. QED is the quick detailer for gloss between washes, and Alchemy is a metal polish for exhaust tips, chrome, aluminium and stainless steel.

Angelwax wash, wheels and interior care

Wash and decontamination. Cleanliness is a water based, solvent free citrus pre-wash made in Angelwax's UK laboratory, safe on waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings. FastFoam is a thick snow foam for the lance, and Superior Automotive Shampoo is a concentrated, pH neutral shampoo that leaves protection in place. Blue Rinse is a wax infused rinse aid for the clean, wet car, diluted up to 5:1, that makes water sheet off for faster drying. Revenge softens insect remains, Nemesis dissolves tar, glue and sap, and the Cleanse clay bar lifts bonded fallout, used with Uber-Lube.

Wheels. Bilberry is a non-acidic wheel cleaner, ready to use or as a concentrate, safe on painted, lacquered and powder coated wheels. Bilberry Wheel Wax then adds a barrier that slows brake dust build-up, and the same fruity scent comes as the Bilberry air freshener.

Interior and soft tops. AnGel is a water based, silicone free dressing with UV protection that leaves interior plastics matte and non greasy. Absolution cleans seats, carpets and mats, and Heaven for Leather is a pH neutral leather cleaner that keeps the factory matte finish. For convertibles, Excelsior cleans canvas, mohair, cloth and vinyl roofs, and Shield leaves an invisible barrier that repels water and stains on roofs and fabrics. Clarity is a super concentrated screenwash that can be used neat as a de-icer.
