Part of the Angelwax BILBERRY range, this is the award winning BILBERRY PROTECTIVE WHEEL SEALANT.

Designed to work in conjunction with the Original Formula BILBERRY WHEEL CLEANER, this highly durable wax protection system was awarded the Auto Express 'Recommended Product' of 2010.

BILBERRY PROTECTIVE WHEEL SEALANT has been formulated to protect your alloy wheels for up to 6 months by creating a barrier on the surface of the wheel. This protective coating prevents the build of brake dust and traffic film and makes these contaminants much easier to remove when cleaning.

Each of the Angelwax formulations is hand poured in small batches ensuring that only the very finest bespoke detailing product carries the Angelwax trademark. All of the waxes are supplied with a quality microfibre cloth & applicator.

How To Use

Application

  1. Clean and decontaminate the wheels, then dry them fully.
  2. Make sure the wheels are cool to the touch before you start.
  3. Apply a very light coat with a microfibre applicator pad.
  4. Leave it for approximately 5 to 10 minutes before removing.
  5. Buff off the residue with a clean, soft microfibre cloth.
  6. Apply a second coat, as Angelwax recommends.

Aftercare

  1. Wash the wheels regularly with a non-acidic wheel cleaner.
  2. Rinse brake dust off before it has time to bake on.
  3. Reapply once brake dust starts to cling to the wheels again.
  4. Replace the lid firmly and store away from heat and frost.

Top Tip: Wax the wheels while they are off the car if you can, so the inner barrels are easy to reach.

Angelwax is a Scottish car care brand based in Paisley, where it designs, formulates and manufactures all of its products at its own headquarters. The team behind it describes itself as innovators, chemists and perfectionists with more than 25 years in the chemical industry. Its first wax, Formulation #1, launched in 2009, and the range now runs from hand-poured waxes, wash and decontamination products to compounds, interior care and ceramic coatings, which Angelwax only lets accredited installers apply professionally. Angelwax waxes, polishes and protection

Waxes. Formulation #1 is a hand-poured carnauba wax of natural waxes and oils that needs only a thin coat, rated by Angelwax at up to six months. Dark Angel is made for black and dark paint: it enriches dark tones, helps hide light swirls and wash marks, and carries a chocolate scent. The Fifth Element is a high endurance show wax of four natural waxes and passion fruit oil, and Luminosity Matte Wax protects matte, satin and wrapped finishes without adding gloss, kept clean between washes with Luminosity QED.

Polishing. Resurrection is the heavy cut compound, rated to remove sanding marks up to 1,500 grade, Regenerate is the medium cut swirl remover, and Redemption is the ultra fine finishing polish that takes out holograms and P3000 sanding marks. By hand, Perfect Polish is a pre-wax cleanser with ultra fine abrasives, and Stripped-Ease removes old wax, sealant and polishing oils before fresh protection.

Glass and quick protection. H2GO is a glass rain repellent that Angelwax says makes rain bead off from as low as 20mph, applied after cleaning with Vision, a fast flashing glass cleaner that is safe on tinted windows. QED is the quick detailer for gloss between washes, and Alchemy is a metal polish for exhaust tips, chrome, aluminium and stainless steel.

Angelwax wash, wheels and interior care

Wash and decontamination. Cleanliness is a water based, solvent free citrus pre-wash made in Angelwax's UK laboratory, safe on waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings. FastFoam is a thick snow foam for the lance, and Superior Automotive Shampoo is a concentrated, pH neutral shampoo that leaves protection in place. Blue Rinse is a wax infused rinse aid for the clean, wet car, diluted up to 5:1, that makes water sheet off for faster drying. Revenge softens insect remains, Nemesis dissolves tar, glue and sap, and the Cleanse clay bar lifts bonded fallout, used with Uber-Lube.

Wheels. Bilberry is a non-acidic wheel cleaner, ready to use or as a concentrate, safe on painted, lacquered and powder coated wheels. Bilberry Wheel Wax then adds a barrier that slows brake dust build-up, and the same fruity scent comes as the Bilberry air freshener.

Interior and soft tops. AnGel is a water based, silicone free dressing with UV protection that leaves interior plastics matte and non greasy. Absolution cleans seats, carpets and mats, and Heaven for Leather is a pH neutral leather cleaner that keeps the factory matte finish. For convertibles, Excelsior cleans canvas, mohair, cloth and vinyl roofs, and Shield leaves an invisible barrier that repels water and stains on roofs and fabrics. Clarity is a super concentrated screenwash that can be used neat as a de-icer.
