Full Description

This is the green Utility Cloth, a pale lime green, in the same clear Duel pack as the orange one. The label printed on the pack reads single pack, 400gsm, long and short pile, 40cm x 40cm. The other colour is orange.

The cloth has two faces for jobs where you apply and remove in one go. The short pile side spreads a liquid such as Duel Oxide or lifts a cured wax such as Element Hybrid Wax, and the plush side then buffs the panel to a gloss. Duel supplies it as a single cloth and suggests using the two colours to keep different jobs apart.

Expert Notes

The Duel Utility Dual-Sided Microfibre Cloth is built for jobs that need spreading and buffing in the same pass, such as applying and removing a quick detailer or a wax. One face is a short pile that grips and moves product, the other a plush pile that glides and lifts residue for a clear finish. Duel Autocare lists an 80% polyester, 20% polyamide blend at 400 GSM, in a 40 x 40cm edgeless format with no stitched border to mark paintwork. This green colourway lets it be assigned to a specific job when colour-coding a kit alongside other Duel cloths. It works well paired with a hybrid wax or quick detailer and a dedicated microfibre wash detergent to keep the pile performing.

Perfect For / Suitable Surfaces

  • Painted bodywork
  • Glass
  • Ceramic coatings and sealants
  • Cured wax
  • Interior trim and vinyl
  • Vinyl wrap

Caution: Keep this cloth away from wheels, arches and engine bays, since embedded brake dust does not fully wash out and can mark paintwork later.
