Quartz is a cutting edge liquid crème Hybrid wax sealant.

The Advanced synthetic polymer formulation uses nano technology to combine wax and sealant in to one molecule. The performance enhancing polymers provide a superb bond to your vehicles paintwork giving quartz exceptional durability for up to 9 months.

Quartz liquid crème gives an impressive mirror like showroom shine and a superb depth of colour. Quartz has exceptional hydrophobic qualities and gives incredible beading.

Quartz is simple to apply and remove and is easily maintained with the Aura Quick Detailer as a maintenance topper.

How To Use

Applying

  1. Wash, dry and decontaminate the paint first.
  2. Work on a cool panel in the shade.
  3. Apply a thin, even layer with a clean applicator.
  4. Work one or two panels at a time.
  5. Leave it for the time on the bottle.

Buffing

  1. Buff off with a clean, plush microfibre.
  2. Turn the towel to a fresh side often.
  3. Let it cure before the car gets wet, as the bottle directs.
  4. Store the bottle sealed, away from heat.

Top Tip: Thin, even coats on a clean, decontaminated panel give the sealant the best bond.

Dunking Biscuit

Dunking Biscuit is a car care range created by Dunking Biscuit Ltd in Heanor, Derbyshire, a few miles from our Ilkeston shop. Its products carry playful names, from Feelin' Bubbly shampoo and Velvet snow foam to Melt iron remover and Show Wax 01. Many come in a 500ml bottle, a sample size and a 2500ml bottle. Dunking Biscuit also made Feelin', a pH neutral shampoo created together with The Drivers HQ.

Dunking Biscuit wash, decontamination and wheels

Pre-wash. Citrus Blast (also 2500ml) is a citrus pre-wash for bug splats and road grime that thickens to a gel once applied. It is safe on waxes and sealants, matte paint and vinyl wraps: spray it on, leave it three to four minutes without letting it dry, then rinse. Velvet (also 2500ml) is a thick, pH neutral snow foam that needs just 25ml in a 1 litre foam lance and lifts dirt in about five minutes; Velvet V2 is the slightly alkaline version, at 15 to 25ml a wash.

Shampoos. Feelin' Bubbly is a high foaming, pH neutral shampoo with anti-marring additives and a tutti frutti scent: 20 to 30ml in a 20 litre bucket, with a second bucket of clean water to rinse the mitt. It comes as a sample and in 2500ml. Feelin' x The Drivers HQ is our shared pH neutral shampoo, with up to 25 washes in a 500ml bottle. Forged (also 2500ml) is a low foaming, SiO2 infused shampoo that leaves a hydrophobic layer, so it tops up existing protection as you wash.

Decontamination. Melt (and sample) is a pH neutral iron fallout remover that clings as a gel, for all wheel types, metals and plastics; leave it no more than five minutes, wear gloves and keep it off vinyl wraps. Purge is a sprayable gel for tar and sticky residue, applied to a dry surface. The Fine Grade Clay Bar (200g) lifts tree sap, fallout and other bonded dirt, used with Loob, a water based clay lubricant.

Wheels and tyres. Blitz (also 2500ml) is a non-acidic, non-caustic wheel and tyre cleaner: neat for heavy dirt, 5:1 for medium and 10:1 for light. The Rim Ticklers are a long and a short synthetic wheel woolie for wheels, exhausts and door shuts. Glitz Creme (and sample) is a water based gel tyre dressing that does not sling: four pea-sized drops on an applicator, then 20 minutes before you drive.

Dunking Biscuit protection, interior and kit

Protection and gloss. Aura (and sample) is an SiO2 ceramic quick detailer for paint, metal, glass and plastics, which Dunking Biscuit rates at three months of protection from a spray and wipe. Hydro Boost (and sample) is a polymer rinse sealant rated at up to three months: mix 25ml with 475ml of water, spray it onto the wet car a panel at a time and rinse after about a minute. Quartz (and sample) is a liquid creme hybrid wax sealant that the brand rates at up to nine months. The Show Wax 01 Cure Kit boxes a 100ml tin of lemon scented wax made with T1 grade carnauba, an applicator and two microfibre cloths. Gleam is an all in one polish that cleans, polishes and leaves wax protection for around two months. Immerse is a gloss enhancing detailer for show day finishing, and Elixir is a gel trim dressing that restores faded plastics with protection for up to four weeks.

Interior and glass. Spruce (and sample) is a water based interior detailer for plastics, vinyl, rubber and metal, leaving a non-sticky, anti-static satin finish and a rhubarb scent. Luxour (and sample) cleans, conditions and freshens leather from a 240ml foaming pump. Optik (and sample) cleans outside glass and leaves a water repellent layer, while Vision (and sample) is an ammonia free glass cleaner that leaves a film to resist fogging. Air Fresh comes in 250ml mist bottles of Cherry Cola, Grape and Lemon, sprayed onto carpets and mats.

Care and kit. Dynamic (and sample) is a concentrated wash that keeps microfibre towels and pads absorbent. The Microfibre Wash Mitt has deep strands, a foam core and an elasticated cuff. The Mix Bottle is a 500ml trigger bottle with a label to note what is inside, and The Dunking Hauler is a 35 litre detailing bag, 50 x 25 x 28cm, with bottle loops, Velcro dividers and mesh pockets.
