Full Description

Double Sided Wool pads have become a standard in the composite, body shop and industrial markets.

Lake Country Double Sided Wool Pads are centred every time and always balanced to save time and reduce fatigue. The double sided nature of the pad means this is effectively two pads in one.

Fits Backing Plate: 5/8"-11 Thread or Fits Adapter PN 46-229

Features:

Twisted Wool: Tightly wound, many contact points of abrasion, most aggressive, fastest cutting.
Durable Construction: Withstands light use for automotive purposes and strong enough for industrial applications.
Synthetics: Depending on the make up of the yarn the synthetic material tends to have less friction on the polishing surface which creates more of a polishing effect.

How To Use

Cutting

  1. Fix it centrally to the backing plate or adapter the pack gives.
  2. Prime the wool with a little compound.
  3. Work at the speed the compound gives, keeping the pad flat.
  4. Brush out the wool between panels.

Afterwards

  1. Refine the paint with a finishing polish on a foam pad.
  2. Wash the pad after use and let it dry.
  3. Store it clean and dry.
  4. Replace it when the wool mats or sheds.

Top Tip: Brushing the wool between panels keeps the fibres open so the pad cuts evenly.
