Leather Soap is our gel formula designed to lubricate the dirt and grime found between leather grains, making it easier to remove with a little agitation. The gel formula also prevents over use which could cause the leather to become damp - a common problem amongst liquid based leather soaps. This product is designed to be used neat with a ValetPRO interior Leather Brush.

How To Use

Cleaning

  1. Vacuum the seats and seams first.
  2. Test on a small hidden area.
  3. Apply it to the leather or a soft leather brush, as the bottle directs.
  4. Agitate gently to lift dirt from the grain.
  5. Wipe away the dirt with a clean microfibre.

Afterwards

  1. Work one section at a time.
  2. Let the leather dry before use.
  3. Condition or protect it afterwards if you like.
  4. Store the bottle upright out of direct sunlight.

Top Tip: Working one section at a time means the cleaner is wiped away before it can dry on the leather.

From Detailer to Manufacturer

ValetPRO's story starts with its founder, Greg Spink, who the brand says began working as a professional detailer in 1999. After many years in the trade he knew more than most about vehicle preparation and enhancement, and in 2005 he set about creating his own range of professional detailing products. ValetPRO Ltd was officially founded that year.

According to the brand's timeline, the business moved to a larger warehouse in Framfield, East Sussex in 2010, then to larger premises in Golden Cross, East Sussex in 2012. In 2018 it moved into a brand new, purpose built warehouse in Newhaven, and in 2020 it celebrated its 15 year business anniversary. Its products are now exported to over thirty countries.

ValetPRO says its range is still developed in line with Greg's early aspirations: products that are reliable, cost effective and easy to use. The company has an in-house research and development team, hands-on product development and a professional in-house detailer who helps customers get the most from its products, and it describes itself as a specialist in producing pH neutral formulations.

From Snow Foam to Trim Dressing

ValetPRO says it launched products that later became industry staples, including Citrus Pre-Wash and pH Neutral Snow Foam. When it first released pH Neutral Snow Foam, the brand notes, most snow foams on the market were alkaline cleaners. Its pH Neutral Snow Foam is designed for regular maintenance washes, producing a thick, clingy foam that loosens light dirt and traffic film before the contact wash, and it will not strip ceramic coatings, waxes or sealants.
