Super Strength Gel based De-greaser A STICKY GEL THAT CAN BE DILUTED TO PREFERENCE AND SPECIFICALLY TARGETS ENGINE, CV GREASE AND OTHER HEAVY OIL DEPOSITS

What is it?

Super-Degreaser is the product you reach for when all purpose cleaner just won't cut it. Its gel like appearance allows it to be sprayed but also stick and dwell on the contaminated surface for up to 20 minutes. While dwelling, the product begins an emulsification process to combine itself with the grease or oil and allows you to rinse or brush it away very easily.

What's it made from?

This is a water based cleaner, which is important if you are spraying on or around an internal combustion engine. Its alkaline surfactants are made from the most powerful sodium based material, combined with strong emulsifiers and release agents.

What are the features?

This multi purpose de-greaser can be used in multiple ways, from spraying and brushing neat, to diluted through a pump sprayer. Our personal favorite application method has to be via foam lance, using 200ml of product and 800ml of warm water. This is the ultimate engine bay cleaner!

How does it fit into the wash process?

Super De-greaser falls into the decontamination category, but you could use this at any stage of the wash process, or as a stand alone cleaner for certain tasks.

Its gel consistency lets it cling and dwell on contaminated surfaces for up to twenty minutes, giving the water based formula time to emulsify grease before it is rinsed or brushed away. Through a foam lance it is used at 200ml of product to 800ml of warm water, or it can be sprayed and brushed neat, or diluted through a pump sprayer for lighter jobs. It suits the decontamination stage of a wash routine and pairs well with wheel brushes, foam lances and microfibre towels. Available in 500ml and 5L sizes, and should not be left to dry on the surface.

How To Use

Application

  1. Spray Infinity Wax Super De-Greaser neat onto the contaminated area, or dilute it through a pump sprayer.
  2. For foam lance use, mix 200ml of product with 800ml of warm water.
  3. Allow the product to dwell for up to 20 minutes to break down grease and oils.
  4. Agitate stubborn deposits with a brush if needed.
  5. Rinse or brush the loosened grease away.

Aftercare

  1. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
  2. Rinse the area thoroughly with water once cleaning is complete.
  3. Dry the surface with a clean microfibre towel.
  4. Store the bottle upright away from direct sunlight.

From Garage Experiments to UK Production

Infinity Wax says it began in 2014 as the weekend pursuit of its founder, Michael Cipriani, whom the brand describes as an automotive enthusiast with a chemist's precision and a detailer's eye. What started in a garage as hands-on experimentation produced early blends for fellow car lovers who wanted performance without complication. According to the brand, the idea was to make car care accessible, effective and safe in a sector long split between products for professionals only and retail friendly ones.

By 2015, the brand says, word had outgrown the workshop and Infinity Wax opened its first laboratory and retail space in Newbridge, near Edinburgh. Several Infinity Wax cleaners are supplied as concentrates. Citrus Pre-Wash is designed to be diluted and sprayed on before washing, and the brand says it is made from biodegradable, non-caustic detergents combined with natural orange oil, and is safe on wax and coatings.
