The Ultimate Ceramic Quick Detailer

SPEED, GLOSS, SLICKNESS, HYDROPHOBICS, AND EASE OF USE. ALL WRAPPED UP INTO A GREAT SMELLING AFFORDABLE QD

What is it?

QDX was always designed to be a product that pushes the limits of what's possible from a quick detailer. Sealant like beading and durability, incredible slickness both to the touch and for water roll off when driving. All while being as simple to use as a quick spray and wipe and retaining the true essence of what a quick detail spray should be.

Infinity Wax QDX Ceramic Detailer v2
What's it made from?

You can rely on the most up to date siloxane (Si02) polymers that make up the backbone of this formula. These are blended at a very specific pH, alongside a wetting agent that assists in the spreading and bonding of the product. These combined, produce a super simple application with excellent coverage from only a fine mist application while still allowing the product adequate distribution to crosslink and bond to the surface of your paintwork.

What are the features?

Spray, wipe, and walk away. It really doesn't get much easier than QDX. For such ease of use, you would usually expect mediocre results in some areas. But this is no normal QD, it truly excels in all areas and that is where the name is derived from. QDX, standing for quick detailer xtreme, really does push the possibilities of what can be achieved from a QD.

How does it fit into the wash process?

QDX is best used as either a last stage protection or as a topper for existing protection. It's suitable for use as a drying aid, but this can hamper its performance slightly, so Infinity Wax suggests using it on a clean and dry vehicle for the best results.

Infinity wax has a whole host of quick detailers to suit any job from the rapid detailers to the qdx graphene and ceramic detailers.

The Brand

Infinity Wax

Infinity Wax is a UK detailing brand founded in 2014 by Michael Cipriani, who combined a weekend love of detailing with professional experience in chemical coatings. Early garage blends for friends turned into a business, and by early 2015 Infinity Wax had opened its first laboratory and shop in Newbridge, near Edinburgh, where products such as Rapid Detailer made its name. In April 2025 the Tetrosyl Group bought the brand, and Infinity Wax moved from its Scottish site to Rochdale in England, where it now operates within Tetrosyl. The aim has stayed the same: professional performance in products that are simple for enthusiasts to use.

At The Drivers HQ we stock Infinity Wax online with UK delivery and in our Ilkeston shop. Our customers' favourites are the Synergy Quick Detailer, Wheel Shampoo, Synergy Refresh Shampoo, the Infinity Wax x Millions Strawberry Detailer and the Watermelon spray air freshener.

Infinity Wax Synergy: which ceramic product?

Synergy is the Infinity Wax ceramic range. The products do different jobs, so pick by how much time you have and how long you want the protection to last.

  • Synergy Lite v2 is a ceramic coating for paint, glass and unpainted trim that Infinity Wax rates at up to 12 months, with one 100ml bottle treating up to five cars. Put it on an applicator, never spray it straight onto the car, and buff it off as the instructions direct.
  • Synergy Boost is a lance-applied ceramic sealant: spray it onto the clean, wet car and rinse it off for up to three months of water beading on paint, glass, wheels and trim. Infinity Wax gives 5ml per litre as minimum strength, 20ml as normal and 40ml as maximum.
  • Synergy Refresh is the maintenance shampoo for a coated car. It is mildly acidic, removing water spots and mineral deposits that dull the beading, and dilutes 250:1 strong, 500:1 regular or 1500:1 maximum.

We also list the Synergy Ceramic Coating 30ml and Synergy 2 Year Ceramic Coating, Synergy Prep panel wipe, Synergy Vitality, the Synergy Revolution Wheel Ceramic Coating and Synergy Ceramic Wax. Links: Synergy Lite v2, Synergy Boost, Synergy Refresh.
