Full Description

Alchemy's Dark Matter is a glaze that brings back the eye-popping shine of dark paints.

The formula includes a unique mix of glossing agents and oils that have been blended to bring back the lustre of dark colours.

Dark Matter will hide light imperfections and blemishes on dulled paints and can be used by hand or by machine. It is also suitable for clear coats.

Like all of the Alchemy range, Dark Matter has been created by detailers to give dazzling shine and ease of use.

Directions:

By hand: apply a small amount to an applicator, spread over a small area, leave to haze before buffing off to a shine with a microfibre towel.

By machine: add three pea-sized amounts onto a light foam polishing pad. Apply on a low speed to spread the product, leave to haze before buffing with a microfibre towel.

How To Use

Application

  1. Wash, decontaminate and dry the car so the glaze goes onto clean paint.
  2. By hand, apply a small amount to an applicator and spread it over a small area.
  3. By machine, add three pea-sized amounts onto a light foam polishing pad.
  4. Spread the glaze on a low speed, one small section at a time.
  5. Leave it to haze, then buff off to a shine with a clean microfibre towel.
  6. Work panel by panel on cool paint out of direct sunlight.

Aftercare

  1. Inspect each panel under good light and re-buff any remaining haze.
  2. Add a wax or sealant afterwards if you want a protection layer.
  3. Clean the polishing pad straight after use and let it dry fully.
  4. Wash buffing towels separately without fabric softener.
  5. Store the bottle upright, sealed and away from heat and frost.

Top Tip: Apply thin coats, because a thin layer hazes evenly and buffs off far more easily than a heavy one.
