How To Use

Using it

  1. Wash and rinse the car fully before drying so no grit is left on the paint.
  2. Open the towel out and lay it flat across a panel such as the roof or bonnet.
  3. Pat it down or draw it slowly towards you by the corners, letting the pile soak up the water.
  4. Wring the towel out when it becomes heavy, then carry on with the next panel.
  5. Work from the top of the car downwards, leaving the lower panels until last.
  6. Dry out of direct sunlight so water does not dry into spots before you reach it.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Wash the towel after every use at 40°C, as Alchemy directs.
  2. Never add fabric softener, which Alchemy advises against.
  3. Wash it with other microfibre only, away from cotton items that shed lint.
  4. Let it dry fully before folding it away.
  5. Store it in a clean, sealed bag or box so it stays free of dust and grit.
  6. If it is dropped on the ground, wash it before it touches paint again.

Top Tip: Draw the towel slowly by its corners rather than rubbing, so the twist pile does the absorbing for you.

A Range That Covers the Detailing Process

Alchemy has built a broad car care range covering pre-washing, contact washing, chemical decontamination, paint preparation, polishing, protection, interior cleaning, wheels and tyres. Grime provides the citrus pre-wash stage, Whitewash covers snow foam, Dirty Harry handles contact washing, while Chemical X and Diss-olve tackle iron contamination and tar.
