Polar Blaster is a unique foam gun designed to work in harmony with all Polar Series products, providing the speediest way to safely pre-wash, wash and protect your vehicle. Polar Blaster creates lashings of thick, clingy foam with Polar Blast, optimises the density required to efficiently deep clean with Polar Wash and produces the perfect consistency to apply the hyper-hydrophobic Polar Seal in seconds.

The adjustable spray pattern allows you to easily follow your car's contours, ensuring total coverage and appropriate dwell time on mud, traffic film and other contaminants. Complete a full exterior car care routine in a way that is quick, fun and safest to your car's surfaces.

The Autoglym Polar Blaster is the foam gun Autoglym designed and tested for its three Polar products: Polar Blast pre-wash, Polar Wash shampoo and Polar Seal. This version comes with a connector for Karcher K Series pressure washers, with a spring-loaded brass collar. The wide neck reservoir bottle carries the dilution rates on its sidewall, a top dial sets the foam level and the nozzle turns to change the spray pattern, so it can follow the car's contours. It works with pressure washers only, not a garden hose. Autoglym advises the maximum foam setting with Polar products, rinsing the bottle between products and flushing the gun with clean water after use. It suits drivers using the Polar range, paired with a wash mitt and drying towel.

How To Use

Using it

  1. Push the clear pickup tube onto the brass nozzle under the foam gun head.
  2. Fit the black end of the connector to your Karcher K Series pressure washer gun.
  3. Pull back the spring-loaded brass collar and connect it to the silver nozzle on the foam gun head.
  4. Dilute your Polar product at the rate shown on the bottle sidewall, then screw the head onto the bottle.
  5. Aim at the ground and pull the trigger until the product feeds through.
  6. Turn the dial to set the foam level and turn the nozzle to change the spray pattern.
  7. Apply to the car following the instructions for the Polar product you are using.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Rinse the reservoir bottle with clean water after using it with each product.
  2. Flush clean water through the Polar Blaster when you have finished with all products.
  3. Turn the foam adjustment off if you want to rinse it through between products.
  4. Do not keep diluted product in the reservoir bottle, as left over product can block the filters.
  5. Disconnect the connector from the pressure washer gun before storing.
  6. Store the foam gun indoors, away from frost, so water left inside cannot freeze.

Top Tip: For the best quality foam every time, Autoglym advises turning the mix dial on top clockwise until it locks out.

Which pressure washers does it fit?

This Polar Blaster comes with a connector that Autoglym states is compatible with the Karcher K Series of pressure washers. Separate Autoglym Polar Blaster adapters are made for other brands, for example Kranzle, Lavor and Nilfisk Pro machines.

What parts make up the Polar Blaster?

It is made up of a Karcher K Series connector, a foam gun head with a foam dial and adjustable nozzle, a clear pickup tube and a Polar reservoir bottle. The bottle holds the diluted product, so no fill pipe goes into the product bottle.

Can I use it with a garden hose?

No, the Autoglym Polar Blaster is developed for use with pressure washers only, as a hose does not have the required pressure or the right connector.

AUTOGLYM POLAR BLAST 2.5L - The Drivers HQ

Autoglym since 1965

Eight treatments. Autoglym started small, with eight car care treatments made to bring tired bodywork and wheels back to life. Radiant Wax Polish kept the brand in front of British drivers, and in the 1970s Autoglym spread quickly across Europe.

Buses, coaches and trains. In the 1990s Autoglym set up a division for public transport vehicles, keeping buses, coaches and trains clean day and night. In the same decade it received two Royal Warrants of Appointment, from HRH The Queen Mother and from HRH The Prince of Wales.

High Definition Wax. Years of work in Autoglym's laboratory produced High Definition Wax, and the brand's name for long lasting gloss brought a third Royal Warrant, from Her Majesty The Queen.

Made in Letchworth. Autoglym develops, tests and makes its products in its own laboratories, test facilities and production sites, with a factory sized to supply the UK and more than 45 other countries.

Using Polar Blast and the Snow Foam Lance

Polar Blast. A thick, high cling, pH neutral snow foam that loosens dirt and heavy soiling before you touch the paint. Because it is pH neutral it does not strip waxes or sealants already on the car, and Autoglym says it is safe on matt and satin paint.

Mixing it. A good starting point is 100ml of Polar Blast to 500ml of water in the foam bottle. It works anywhere from neat to 1 part Polar Blast to 10 parts water, and Autoglym has been very happy with it at 1:5. Adjust the foam gun for thicker or thinner foam.

Foaming the car. Check the bodywork and wheels are cool and out of direct sunlight. Foam the car, let Polar Blast dwell for up to 10 minutes without letting it dry, then rinse thoroughly from the bottom up. Do not agitate a pre-wash; follow it with a contact wash.

The lance. Its connector fits Karcher K Series pressure washers. Screw the foam gun head onto the wide neck bottle, turn the dial to set the foam and the nozzle to change the spray pattern, and flush it through with clean water when you finish. More in snow foam lances.
