Car-Chem ReFresh Odour Eliminator is a highly fragranced interior spray with an Applemint scent, supplied here in a 500ml bottle. Car-Chem developed it in house to target the bacteria that release bad smells at the source and to encapsulate bad odour, leaving a fragrance the maker says lasts for weeks. We use it as the finishing step of an interior valet, once the rubbish is out and the carpets and seats are vacuumed. Spray it liberally through the cabin and directly onto fabrics, wipe any overspray from hard surfaces, then run the air conditioning on high with the doors closed to carry it through the system. Pair it with a good vacuum, a fabric cleaner and clean microfibre cloths.
Caution: Avoid breathing the spray: step out and close the doors while the air conditioning runs, and air the cabin before driving. Do not soak headlinings or electrics.
Top Tip: Remove the source of the smell first, such as old food or damp mats, before spraying ReFresh.
