  • LUBRICATES THE PANEL TO AID CLAYING
  • EASY TO USE
  • GREAT FOR ALL TYPES OF CLAY

Clay Rider is a clay lubricant that provides the necessary glide to allow a clay bar to gently lift contamination off any painted surface whilst significantly reducing the risk of marring during use. It is well suited for any paint preparation step giving your vehicle the necessary treatment before any wax or protection is applied. We recommend the use of our Contamination Bar range which is well suited for bonded dirt that can get trapped on a painted surface.

The Brand

ValetPRO

ValetPRO is a UK based company that specialises in manufacturing car cleaning and protection products. It began in 2005, when founder Greg Spink, after many years working as a detailer, set about creating his own range of professional detailing products. The brand says its range is still developed to be reliable, cost effective and easy to use, and it now covers car cleaning and protection solutions and accessories exported to over thirty countries. ValetPRO also describes itself as a specialist in producing pH neutral formulations.

The Drivers HQ stocks ValetPRO for washing, protection and caravans. The wash side includes Advanced Poseidon Car Wash, a shampoo that leaves a thin high-gloss layer as you rinse, and Citrus Bling, a quick detailer for between washes. For protection there is Indulgence Cream Wax, and Matte Protect for matte paint. Owners of caravans and motorhomes can choose Caravan Wash and Shine, a waterless cleaner with carnauba wax protection, or Luxury Caravan Wash. Inside, the Upholstery Brush works with our carpet and fabric cleaners.

ValetPRO pitches its products at car enthusiasts and professional detailers. A typical routine starts with a snow foam to loosen dirt before the contact wash, followed by Advanced Poseidon applied with a microfibre wash mitt. Indulgence Cream Wax then protects the paint, and Citrus Bling keeps it looking fresh between washes.

Buy ValetPRO from The Drivers HQ with tracked UK-wide delivery, or visit our walk-in store in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, where Click & Collect on eligible online orders is free. Whether you are restocking a favourite shampoo, trying a new wax or getting a caravan ready for the season, you can combine ValetPRO with the rest of your car care essentials in a single order.

ValetPro Advanced neutral Snow Foam (1L & 5L) - The Drivers HQ

From Detailer to Manufacturer

ValetPRO's story starts with its founder, Greg Spink, who the brand says began working as a professional detailer in 1999. After many years in the trade he knew more than most about vehicle preparation and enhancement, and in 2005 he set about creating his own range of professional detailing products. ValetPRO Ltd was officially founded that year.

According to the brand's timeline, the business moved to a larger warehouse in Framfield, East Sussex in 2010, then to larger premises in Golden Cross, East Sussex in 2012. In 2018 it moved into a brand new, purpose built warehouse in Newhaven, and in 2020 it celebrated its 15 year business anniversary. Its products are now exported to over thirty countries.

ValetPRO says its range is still developed in line with Greg's early aspirations: products that are reliable, cost effective and easy to use. The company has an in-house research and development team, hands-on product development and a professional in-house detailer who helps customers get the most from its products, and it describes itself as a specialist in producing pH neutral formulations.

ValetPro Bilberry Wheel Cleaner (500ml, 1L & 5L) - The Drivers HQ

From Snow Foam to Trim Dressing

ValetPRO says it launched products that later became industry staples, including Citrus Pre-Wash and pH Neutral Snow Foam. When it first released pH Neutral Snow Foam, the brand notes, most snow foams on the market were alkaline cleaners. Its pH Neutral Snow Foam is designed for regular maintenance washes, producing a thick, clingy foam that loosens light dirt and traffic film before the contact wash, and it will not strip ceramic coatings, waxes or sealants.

On the wash side, Advanced Poseidon Car Wash deposits a thin, sacrificial high-gloss coating as you rinse, which the brand says helps extend the durability of an existing wax or paint sealant. Ceramic Shampoo is an SiO2-infused shampoo that ValetPRO says delivers up to 4 weeks of protection from one wash. Bug Remover is a ready-to-use, pH neutral spray for baked-on insect remains on windscreens, grilles, bumpers and paintwork.

For wheels and trim, Bilberry Wheel Cleaner is an acid-free, alkaline cleaner for painted and lacquered alloy wheels with a bilberry fragrance, and ValetPRO's chemical resistant brushes are made for agitating wheel cleaners. Black to the Future is a trim and tyre dressing designed to restore faded exterior plastics to a deep, glossy black. Inside the car, Advanced Interior Cleaner is a pH neutral, biodegradable cleaner for carpets, upholstery and hard surfaces.
