Full Description

The Active™ 3.0 Electric Pressure Washer Premium Kit is the Active 3.0 machine boxed with Active's own premium accessories, ready to wash and snow foam out of the box (Active code AP-SE24UK(02) / JH65EU). Active says the accessory set was developed using customer feedback and expert guidance, and the gun, lance, hose and foam cannon all use fully machined 304 stainless steel fittings.

The machine is the flagship of the Active range: 3.0 GPM of flow at 1000 PSI working pressure from a patented 5-piston pump and a low-speed induction motor, so it rinses quickly and feeds the foam cannon well without relying on very high pressure. What is in the Premium Kit

  • Active 3.0 Electric Pressure Washer: the machine with 4 spray nozzles and a 1.65mm foam cannon orifice. Patented 5-piston pump, low-speed induction motor, 3.0 GPM flow, 1000 PSI working and 1500 PSI peak pressure, about 75 dB, with oil fill and drain access for servicing.
  • M22-14mm to 3/8 adaptor: joins the machine's M22-14mm outlet to the 3/8 quick connect system of the kit hose.
  • Active 50 ft steel braided hose, 5/16": about 15 m of real rubber hose with steel braiding. Active chose the 5/16" size as the balance between the light weight of a 1/4" hose and the durability of a 3/8" hose. Fully machined 304 stainless steel quick connects with a 3/8" male plug and a female quick connect. Active rates its 50 ft hose to 4000 PSI and 12 GPM, at up to 212°F (100°C).
  • Active swivel gun: fully machined 304 stainless steel quick connects and an integrated internal swivel connection, a valve with a solid brass body and a stainless metal rod, a low-profile angle, a rubber grip and a low-force trigger. Rated to 5000 PSI and 12 GPM, at up to 300°F (149°C).
  • Active foam cannon: a fully machined 304 stainless steel quick nozzle head with adjustment for foam consistency, angle and pattern, on a leak-free 1000ml bottle with a flexible tube and a stainless steel weight ball. Rated to 4000 PSI and 4 GPM, at up to 140°F (60°C).
  • Active 20° bent lance: fully machined 304 stainless steel with integrated quick connects, a 1/4" male inlet and a 1/4" female outlet, in a nylon casing that makes it easier to manoeuvre around hard to reach areas. 20.5 inches (about 52 cm) long, rated to 5000 PSI and 12 GPM.

How To Use

Setting up

  1. Connect a standard 3/4" garden hose to the inlet and turn the water on fully.
  2. Fit the M22-14mm to 3/8 adaptor to the machine outlet, then click the braided hose onto it.
  3. Connect the swivel gun to the hose, then the bent lance or the foam cannon to the gun.
  4. Squeeze the trigger to purge air from the system before switching the machine on.
  5. Fit the 1.65mm orifice in the foam cannon and set the foam with its adjusters.

After washing

  1. Switch off, unplug and turn off the water, then squeeze the trigger to release pressure.
  2. Rinse snow foam out of the foam cannon bottle with clean water.
  3. Disconnect the quick connects and let the gun, lance and hose drain.
  4. Check the oil through the oil fill and drain access, following Active's instructions.
  5. Store the machine and hose indoors, coiled and protected from frost.

Top Tip: Keep the 1.65mm orifice in the foam cannon, so the kit is ready whenever you want to snow foam.
