Full Description

The Active™ 2.3 Electric Pressure Washer Standard Pro Kit is the Active 2.3 machine with the hose, gun, lance and nozzles to start washing (Active code AP-SE14UK). Active built the 2.3 from its work on the Active 2.0 for the professional consumer. An updated brass endplate 5-Piston Pro Pump and a 128 induction motor give 2.3 GPM at 1100 PSI working pressure, 1500 PSI peak, and Active quotes a combined output of 2,500 cleaning units. The machine is serviceable and rebuildable.

Good to know

  • Active supplies a 4.6 size orifice to keep the current draw under 15A, and warns that any other orifice must not take the draw above 15A, or the microswitch and capacitor can be damaged.

How To Use

Setting up

  1. Connect the water supply to the machine and turn the water on fully.
  2. Fit the 50 ft hose to the machine, then the swivel gun and the 20° lance by their quick connects.
  3. Choose a rubber and rinse nozzle from the nozzle holder and lock it into the lance.
  4. Squeeze the trigger to purge air, then switch on at the rocker switch.
  5. Fit the foam cannon orifice when you run a foam cannon for pre-wash.

After washing

  1. Switch off, unplug and turn off the water, then squeeze the trigger to release pressure.
  2. Disconnect the quick connects and let the gun, lance and hose drain.
  3. Put the nozzles and the foam cannon orifice back in the nozzle holder.
  4. Lift the machine carefully, as Active lists it at 20kg with its frame.
  5. Store the machine and hose indoors, coiled and protected from frost.

Top Tip: Keep the nozzles and the foam cannon orifice in the nozzle holder, so none go missing between washes.
