Angelwax ÜBER-LUBE SUPERIOR CLAY BAR LUBRICANT has been formulated to remove contamination and fallout from the paint and glass surfaces of your vehicle.

Angelwax ÜBER-LUBE has been designed for use in conjunction with the Angelwax CLEANSE CLAY BAR.

The ultra slick formulation of Angelwax Über-Lube makes this clay bar lubricant virtually effortless and extremely safe to use.

The bodywork and glass of your vehicle are subject to contamination from a variety of chemical, environmental and industrial pollutions such as bird lime, tar, tree sap, ferrous metals and salt. These harmful contaminants cannot be removed by simply polishing or washing away, they require a clay bar and a clay bar lubricant to remove them from the paint surface.

Once the paintwork has been treated, it is suitably prepared for polishing and wax layers.

Angelwax Uber-Lube is an ultra-slick clay bar lubricant for the decontamination stage of a detail. Sprayed generously onto a washed panel, it lets clay bars, clay mitts and clay sponges glide across paint and glass, helping to minimise friction and the risk of marring while bonded contamination such as tar, tree sap, industrial fallout and brake dust is lifted. It was designed to work with the Angelwax Cleanse Clay Bar, and Angelwax states it is safe on paintwork, glass and exterior vehicle surfaces. Work panel by panel, never let the surface dry, and wipe each section with a soft microfibre cloth. Follow with a polish, wax or ceramic coating. Available in 500ml and 5L.

How To Use

Application

  1. Wash the vehicle thoroughly before claying.
  2. Work in the shade on one panel at a time.
  3. Spray Angelwax Uber-Lube generously onto the section you are working on.
  4. Glide the clay bar, mitt or sponge gently across the lubricated area.
  5. Re-spray as soon as the surface starts to dry.
  6. Wipe the panel clean with a soft microfibre cloth and move on.

Aftercare

  1. Check the panel feels smooth before moving to the next section.
  2. Polish, wax or coat the paint once decontamination is complete.
  3. Rinse clay mitts or sponges in clean water after use.
  4. Store the bottle sealed, upright and away from heat and frost.

Angelwax describes itself as more than just another detailing brand. In its own words, the people behind it are innovators, chemists and perfectionists with over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry, who have spent years developing and refining their range of detailing products. The brand says every formula is crafted with precision and tested across the globe.

All Angelwax products are designed, formulated and manufactured at the brand's global headquarters in Scotland, which it lists at the Airlink Industrial Estate in Paisley. Several of its product descriptions refer to formulas developed in-house at its UK laboratory, including the Cleanliness pre-wash and Blue Rinse. Alongside its Scottish base, the brand also lists a European distribution centre and a distribution office and warehouse in the USA.

Formulation #1 has a long history with the brand. Waxes, Wheel Care and Wash Essentials

Waxes are at the heart of the Angelwax range. Formulation #1 is a carnauba detailing wax that the brand says is hand-poured in small batches from natural waxes and oils, delivers a deep wet-look gloss and needs only a thin application layer. Dark Angel was developed specifically for black and dark-coloured vehicles, blended with natural waxes and conditioning oils to enrich dark paint tones and help reduce the appearance of light swirls and wash marks.

The Bilberry name runs through the brand's wheel care. Bilberry wheel cleaner is a non-acidic formula for removing brake dust and road grime, and Angelwax describes it as safe for all wheel types, including painted, lacquered and powder-coated finishes. Bilberry Wheel Wax then adds a protective barrier against brake dust and road grime to help keep wheels cleaner for longer, and the same bilberry fragrance is available as a hanging air freshener.

For the wash, Angelwax says FastFoam produces a thick foam that clings to the car to loosen dirt and traffic film before contact washing, and that it is safe for waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings when used correctly. Inside the car, Absolution is made for seats, carpets, floor mats and fabric trim, Heaven for Leather is a pH-neutral cleaner for leather upholstery, and Excelsior cleans canvas, mohair, cloth and vinyl soft tops.
