The Rupes DA Pads are the result of years of research and development, offering increased performance, versatility and optimized user experience.

Developed specifically to complement the high-performance DA compounds, these innovative pads feature proprietary foam formulas and a patented contour edge design which has been extensively tested and optimized for both gear-driven and random orbital polishers. The reduced pad height, combined with the all-new foam materials, optimizes the transfer of energy from the tool to the application surface for more effective defect removal and higher quality finishing.

The Rupes DA Fine Pad is the most versatile pad in the BigFoot foam pad range and is compatible with both gear driven and random orbital machines. The DA Fine pad delivers an effective rate of defect removal and capability for high gloss finishing. The DA Fine Pad is designed for use with the Rupes DA Fine Compound.

How To Use

Polishing

  1. Centre the pad on a backing plate of the right size.
  2. Prime the face with a little product, as the product directs.
  3. Spread at low speed, then work at the speed the product gives.
  4. Keep the pad flat on the panel.
  5. Clean the pad between panels with a pad brush or a clean microfibre.

Afterwards

  1. Wash the pad after use.
  2. Let it air dry before storing.
  3. Store it clean and dry in a sealed bag or box.
  4. Replace it when the foam tears or the backing wears.

Top Tip: Priming the face with a little product before starting stops a dry pad marring the paint.
