Full Description

Repel is a superior glass sealant and rain repellent that forms an invisible protective shield on all glass surfaces and rapidly repels water and enhances visibility in bad weather conditions.

Repel will also protect the glass surface from grime, traffic film, salt, bugs, fallout, Ice and snow making it easier to clean away. It leaves a durable coating which lasts months when applied and will repel water at speeds as low as 30MPH without the constant use of your windscreen wipers. When applied, Repel will not leave a milky or hazy finish. Applicable to a wide range of industries, such as LGV and HGV transport companies, taxis, motorsport and the emergency services. The 100ml bottle will provide upwards of 15 applications, with one coat lasting up to 6 months.

We recommend 2-3 coats for initial application for optimum durability after correct glass preparation.

How To Use

Application

  1. Clean the glass with a glass cleaner or glass polish, then make sure it is completely dry.
  2. Apply approximately 7 drops of Repel, depending on the size of the glass.
  3. Work it lightly over the whole area with a microfibre applicator until it forms a light haze.
  4. Leave it for approximately 5 to 10 minutes to cure.
  5. Mist a little glass cleaner onto the surface and buff off the excess to a clear finish.
  6. Build up 2 to 3 coats on the first application.

Aftercare

  1. Treat the wiper blades with Repel, which Autobrite says eliminates wiper judder.
  2. Wash the glass regularly so road film does not build up over the coating.
  3. Reapply when water no longer clears from the screen at speed.
  4. Keep the applicator used for Repel apart from paint applicators.
  5. Store the bottle tightly closed and upright away from heat and frost.

Top Tip: Apply Repel on a dry day or under cover, so rain cannot reach the glass while it cures.
