Hybrid Wool Ultra cut polishing pads. Available in 130mm (suitable for DA12/21) and 80mm (suitable for DA3)

These Ultra cut wool pads are suitable for use with all AD polishing compounds. Capable of medium, heavy cutting action, whilst maintaining a great level of finish.

Designed to allow for quicker correction than traditional foam pads. Hook and loop backing for quick and easy pad changes.

How To Use

Using it

  1. Centre the pad on a hook and loop backing plate of matching size and press it firmly in place.
  2. Prime the wool face with a small amount of compound before the first section.
  3. Work a small test section first to confirm the pad and compound give the correction you need.
  4. Spread the compound at low speed, then raise the speed and work in slow, overlapping passes.
  5. Keep the pad flat on the panel with moderate, even pressure.
  6. Clean the wool face with a pad brush or compressed air after each section.
  7. Wipe off the residue and inspect under good light before refining with a finer pad and polish.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Remove the pad from the backing plate when you finish polishing.
  2. Wash out compound residue with pad cleaner or warm water soon after use.
  3. Squeeze out excess water gently without wringing or twisting the wool.
  4. Leave it to air dry fully, away from direct heat, before storing.
  5. Store it in a clean, sealed bag or box to keep dust and grit off the wool.
  6. Replace the pad once the hook and loop backing no longer holds securely.
