Using it

  1. Wash, decontaminate and dry the paint, then mask trim and rubber seals.
  2. Centre the pad on a backing plate that suits a 4in pad.
  3. Prime the pad face with a few small dots of a one-step polish.
  4. Work a small section with slow, overlapping passes and moderate pressure.
  5. Wipe off residue with a clean microfibre towel and inspect the finish.
  6. Protect the corrected paint with a wax, sealant or coating.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Brush out the pad face often so residue does not clog the pattern.
  2. Wash the pad in warm water with a pad cleaner after each session.
  3. Rinse well and squeeze out the water without twisting the foam.
