How To Use

Using it

  1. Make sure the paint is clean, dry and polished to the finish you want.
  2. Centre the pad on a hook and loop backing plate that suits a 4in pad.
  3. Apply a few small dots of wax, sealant or glaze to the pad face.
  4. Spread the product at low speed with light pressure in overlapping passes.
  5. Leave the product to cure as its maker directs, then buff with clean microfibre.

Cleaning and storage

  1. Brush out the pad between panels to stop product building up.
  2. Wash it in warm water with a dedicated pad cleaner after each session.
  3. Rinse well and squeeze out the water without wringing or twisting the foam.
  4. Dry it face down so water drains away from the hook and loop backing.
  5. Store it in a sealed bag, separate from cutting and polishing pads.

Top Tip: Keep separate Black pads for wax and for sealant so different products never mix in the foam.
