The Chemical Guys Black Hex-Logic Quantum pad is a 5.5in zero cut finishing pad for laying down sealants, waxes and glazes over freshly polished paint. It removes no paint and is designed for dual action polishers, which makes it the final machine step after cutting and polishing. The Quantum design pairs Hex-Logic grooves with a Race Face tapered profile for surface contact and stability, and a Precision Port vent hole releases heat from the centre of the pad. Chemical Guys describes it as safe for soft paint finishes. Pair it with a sealant or wax, a dual action polisher and matching backing plate, a pad cleaner and soft microfibre towels for buffing.
Caution: Use this pad on a dual action polisher only, as directed for Quantum finishing pads. It has no cut, so correct swirls and scratches with a polishing pad first.
