Full Description

Sonax PROFILINE Ceramic Coating CC Pro (02628410) is a single-coat SiO₂-based coating engineered for professional-grade durability and visual impact. It chemically bonds to clear coat surfaces to provide a glossy, hydrophobic layer with exceptional self-cleaning properties and deep colour enhancement.

  • Single‑application performance: offers up to 48 months of weather and chemical resistance, without layering

  • High contact angle (~110°) ensures strong beading and rapid water runoff

  • Optimised flash time, allowing for faster wipe-off and increased workflow efficiency

  • Supplied in a kit with four dual-sided sponges, covering up to two average-size vehicles


Application Protocol:

  1. Decontaminate and polish to hologram-free clarity.
  2. Wipe paint with Sonax Prepare (Prod. 02373000) to remove oils and residues.
  3. Apply CC Pro onto the bright side of the applicator in cross-hatch strokes over ~0.5 m².
  4. Wipe off immediately with a lint-free coating cloth, do not allow product to dwell or cure in place.
  5. Cure time: minimum 2 hours in a dust-free, dry environment.
  6. Avoid washing for 7 days, and avoid alkaline cleaners during this period.

Preparing

  1. Wash and decontaminate the paint.
  2. Polish out any defects you do not want sealed in.
  3. Wipe each panel with a panel wipe.
  4. Work in a dry, dust-free space.

Coating

  1. Prime the applicator with the coating.
  2. Apply to one panel at a time in a crosshatch.
  3. Level the residue with a short-pile microfibre after the time on the bottle.
  4. Check each panel for high spots under good light.
  5. Keep the car dry and unwashed for the cure time on the bottle.

Top Tip: Checking each panel under a torch before moving on catches high spots while they can still be wiped away.
