Full Description

CarPro Nano Pads is a 12-piece set of mini polishing pads for mini tools, electric or pneumatic, dual action or rotary. It gives you cutting, polishing and gloss pads in 1 inch (25mm) and 2 inch (50mm) sizes for the small areas a full-size pad cannot reach.

The kit includes 2 microfibre cutting pads, 2 polishing pads and 2 gloss pads in each size. Use them with CarPro compounds and polishes such as ClearCut, UltraCut or Reflect on pillars, mirror caps, around badges and other tight spots.

How To Use

Polish a small area

  1. Fit the right pad size to your mini tool.
  2. Choose the microfibre cutting pad for defects, the polishing pad to refine, the gloss pad to finish.
  3. Apply a few small drops of compound or polish to the pad.
  4. Work the area until the product breaks down, then wipe and inspect.

Top Tip: Match the pad to the step: cutting pad with a compound, then polishing or gloss pad with a finishing polish.

CarPro is the car care brand behind CQUARTZ, one of the ceramic coatings that brought nano-protection from professional detailing studios to everyday enthusiasts. The CarPro range: prepare, protect, maintain

CarPro organises its products around the order you work on a car, which makes it easy to build a kit that suits your car and the time you have.

Prepare. Clean and decontaminate first. Lift is a concentrated pre-wash snow foam, IronX dissolves iron fallout with an acid-free, pH-balanced formula and turns purple-red as it works, and TRIX removes iron and tar in one go. For paint correction, ClearCut takes out scratches as deep as P1000, Fixer cuts and finishes in a single step, and Reflect refines the finish before a coating. Eraser then removes polishing oils so the coating can bond.

Protect. CQ UK 3.0 is CarPro's consumer ceramic coating: 70% SiO2, applied from 3 to 40°C and rated for 18 to 24 months. There are dedicated coatings for film and plastic trim (CQUARTZ Skin), glass (GForce, built on CarPro's DQUARTZ nano-diamond technology) and leather (CQuartz Leather 2.0), plus quicker options such as HydrO2, a spray-on, rinse-off silica sealant rated for up to 6 months.

Maintain. Reset is the pH-neutral shampoo made for coated cars and dilutes 1:500. Hydro Foam washes and leaves a silica layer in one step, ECH2O is a waterless wash and quick detailer, and MFX restores the absorbency of your microfibre towels.

Where to start with CarPro

New to CarPro? Start with the products that make the biggest difference to a normal wash: Reset, Lift and a pair of Dilute bottles, which have printed ratios from 1:1 to 1:30 so every concentrate is mixed correctly. WheelX is the CarPro product our customers buy most often: a ready-to-use wheel cleaner that is safe on coated, chrome and powder-coated wheels.

Ready to protect your paint? Work in this order:

  • Wash with Lift and Reset, then remove iron fallout with IronX.
  • Polish if the paint needs it, from ClearCut for deeper marks to Reflect for a final finish.
  • Wipe each panel with Eraser and apply CQ UK 3.0 one panel at a time.
  • Keep the coating at its best with Reset and a top-up of HydrO2 or Hydro Foam every few months.

For tyres and trim, DarkSide and Perl are the favourites: Perl dilutes up to 5:1, from a rich finish on tyres to a satin look on plastics, and ReTyre cleans tyres and rubber before you dress them.
