Full Description

CarPro Reload 2.0 is a silica and siloxane spray sealant. Made to top up CQUARTZ coatings, it also works as a standalone sealant with up to 3 months of protection on a daily driver, and it can go on all vehicle surfaces, even when damp.

CarPro calls 2.0 an update in every way: more gloss, longer durability and better chemical and environmental resistance than the original Reload, with the same easy spray and wipe application. It is super hydrophobic and self-cleaning.

Because it is waterborne and can go on a damp car, it fits into the drying stage of a wash. Spray, spread, wait 30 to 60 seconds and wipe clear.

How To Use

Spray and spread

  1. Shake well.
  2. Spray Reload 2.0 over one section, about 50x50cm.
  3. Spread evenly with a microfibre towel.

Wipe clear

  1. Wait 30 to 60 seconds.
  2. Give it a final wipe with a second microfibre towel until the finish is clear.
  3. Flip the towel to a fresh side and move to the next section.

Top Tip: Do not apply in direct sunlight, and flip your microfibre to a fresh side between panels.

How long does CarPro Reload last?

As a standalone sealant CarPro rates Reload 2.0 at up to 3 months of protection on a daily driver.

Can I use Reload on a ceramic coating?

Yes. It was originally made to maintain the protection and finish of CQUARTZ coatings. On a brand new CQUARTZ SiC coating, CarPro US advises not to top it with Reload in the first few days.

Can Reload go on a wet car?

CarPro says its waterborne formula can be applied to all vehicle surfaces even when damp.

How do I apply Reload 2.0?

Shake, spray a 50x50cm section, spread with a microfibre, wait 30 to 60 seconds, then wipe clear with a second towel.

The CarPro range: prepare, protect, maintain

CarPro organises its products around the order you work on a car, which makes it easy to build a kit that suits your car and the time you have.

Prepare. Clean and decontaminate first. Lift is a concentrated pre-wash snow foam, IronX dissolves iron fallout with an acid-free, pH-balanced formula and turns purple-red as it works, and TRIX removes iron and tar in one go. For paint correction, ClearCut takes out scratches as deep as P1000, Fixer cuts and finishes in a single step, and Reflect refines the finish before a coating. Eraser then removes polishing oils so the coating can bond.

Protect. CQ UK 3.0 is CarPro's consumer ceramic coating: 70% SiO2, applied from 3 to 40°C and rated for 18 to 24 months. There are dedicated coatings for film and plastic trim (CQUARTZ Skin), glass (GForce, built on CarPro's DQUARTZ nano-diamond technology) and leather (CQuartz Leather 2.0), plus quicker options such as HydrO2, a spray-on, rinse-off silica sealant rated for up to 6 months.

Maintain. Reset is the pH-neutral shampoo made for coated cars and dilutes 1:500. Hydro Foam washes and leaves a silica layer in one step, ECH2O is a waterless wash and quick detailer, and MFX restores the absorbency of your microfibre towels.

Where to start with CarPro

New to CarPro? Start with the products that make the biggest difference to a normal wash: Reset, Lift and a pair of Dilute bottles, which have printed ratios from 1:1 to 1:30 so every concentrate is mixed correctly. WheelX is the CarPro product our customers buy most often: a ready-to-use wheel cleaner that is safe on coated, chrome and powder-coated wheels.

Ready to protect your paint? Work in this order:

  • Wash with Lift and Reset, then remove iron fallout with IronX.
  • Polish if the paint needs it, from ClearCut for deeper marks to Reflect for a final finish.
  • Wipe each panel with Eraser and apply CQ UK 3.0 one panel at a time.
  • Keep the coating at its best with Reset and a top-up of HydrO2 or Hydro Foam every few months.

For tyres and trim, DarkSide and Perl are the favourites: Perl dilutes up to 5:1, from a rich finish on tyres to a satin look on plastics, and ReTyre cleans tyres and rubber before you dress them.
