Full Description

CarPro Essence is an extreme gloss primer: a blend of nano-tech quartz, high-gloss durable resins and fine abrasives in one product. It leaves a high-gloss finish with semi-permanent fillers and SiO2-based protection built in, and primes the surface for a coating.

Use it by machine with a CarPro gloss pad for maximum gloss, or a microfibre cutting pad for more cut, or apply it by hand. CarPro US expects around a year on its own and recommends topping it with Reload or CQUARTZ for better water beading and dirt resistance. Sizes: 250ml and 500ml.

Essence sits between polish and protection: one step that adds gloss, fills light defects with a semi-permanent filler and leaves SiO2 protection behind. It suits a car that needs to look its best without a full multi-step correction.

On its own CarPro US expects around a year, but it recommends Reload or CQUARTZ on top: the water contact angle rises from about 90 degrees with Essence alone to 115 degrees or more.

CarPro US says that in less time than a conventional polish it can remove swirls, raise the gloss and lay down semi-permanent protection, and that its primer quality makes CQUARTZ easier to apply.

How To Use

Dual action

  1. Shake well.
  2. For more cut, use a CarPro microfibre cutting pad and prime it well. For maximum gloss, use sparingly on a CarPro gloss pad.
  3. Spread evenly across the section on low speed.
  4. Polish on medium speed.
  5. Wipe off and move to the next section.

By hand

  1. Apply Essence to a sponge pad and work it in circular motions over the surface.
  2. Wait 3 minutes for it to flash, then wipe off with a new microfibre towel.

Top Tip: Clean the pad often, and clean pads and towels straight after use.
